You really really need to check out Ghetts Daily Duppy for GRM’s 5milli special - so fire!!! I love this performance of In the Fire - legendary moment for UK scene! No way they would’ve had these guys close out the Brits even a few years ago! Dave yeah - but not the others! Ghetts killed this - if you go back and watch the lyric video you’ll see, easily the best verse! Giggs (with the super deep voice and lazy flow) is the grime godfather in the uk, he paved the way for so many artists - as did Ghetts. They get massive respect in the uk, and rightly so. I agree that there’s a big difference between a lot of UK and US artists just now, especially this generation coming up. The UK has more younger lyrical artists that I enjoy listening to, whereas the US artists I like are all older - probs same age as me lol!
