I've been instructing for decades and this explaination of the Canadian Approach Ban is first class. Its amazing how professional and knowledgeable flight sim guys can be compared to the wide variety of flight instructors.
Excellent explanation. Thank you for this invaluable resource!! I have a much better understanding. Also, cool scenario to remind of the 60N lat circumstance.
Which exam are you talking about? I can't promise this information won't be on an exam. However, depending on the exam, it would likely only cover the scenarios for the flying you will be dealing with, either as a private or commercial operator.
Sorry you feel I talk to fast. I have to try and keep the videos relatively short to remain within the youtube attention span. Please feel free to use the speed control in the bottom right corner if I am going to fast. It sounds surprisingly good even when the speed is much faster or slower. Thanks for watching!
I've taught IFR for several years and this is much clearer than our ground school presentations. Very good.
Thank you so much! Really clean presentation and no BS information laid out. Helped me out a lot.

It helps that my perspective on it is real. Not sure why I bring the job home. I guess aviation is just a passion.
Thanks a lot for this clear explaination. I was totally lost.
I am self studying for INRAT thank you for this
Very well explained! Thank you so much for this video!!

Amazing. Thank you so much.
Very helpful thank you!
Thanks so much for this this clear and good content.
Just to clarify, am I correct to say the 60 deg N exception only applies to commercial operators?
Good to know... thanks! Excellent video!
Use the knowledge to help fly safe. Let me know if that link stops working.
Great Video

This a great video. I hope you continue with these videos.
Thanks. I have another one almost ready to go. Wish I had more time to make videos these days...
Great content
Thanks. I hope it was helpful. I worried by the end that it was getting a little rambling...
Thankyou so much !
Great video and all along I thought the approach ban only applied to Air Canada approaching taxiway C at SFO.
LOL. :D
So funny...was just explaining this to someone today...
I'd say I am psychic but I was working on this for about 3 weeks now. ;)
Do we have to memorize these numbers for the exam?

No mention of Ban vs. RWY LOS eh? Could really screw up your day if you don't keep LOS in mind.
Yep. But thats a whole other can of worms that could have doubled my video. Good topic for another discussion.
@@CaptNabs good intro video nonetheless. Cheers
