Thanks my bro yeah I miss the yard and everytime I look at that empty lot i picture the house still being there and my family and me having a great evening out in the yard man how time flys bye quickly, I'm glad we're here in a new appartment with central air & heating no more cold winters or hot summers to deal with in a very poor insulated old house...lol 😆 well bro I'm having to go out and do some maintenance on my 150cc the last 2 mornings she hasn't been running right I'm lucky to get her up to 25-30 mph but she be sputtering and popping I also see the rpm gauge bouncing all over the place into dangerous zones like 10,000 rpm at 25 mph 🤔 I have a new varriator and kevlar belt , I have a new carburetor, I have a new Airbox hose out take hose and I'm gonna give her a valve adjustment....lol its 1:32pm it gets dark at 5:00pm l best get started 😆👍 have a good day my bro Happy Holidays to you and the family 🎄🎁
@Kevsscootermotovlogs Yeah I was hearing about your problems with the idle in the video. You know if you need some help, I'm here. It will be interesting to see what the belt swap does. Normally doing a whole bunch at once gets me in trouble. I normally swap one part out, ride for a minute, and make sure it cause no issues. If it does it was that part. Thanks for the great advice I too was thinking in order to pinpoint the actual problem i must fix one part at a time taking it for a ride after installing a new part this will be the only way of me actually knowing what caused this issue...😁👍 I'm glad you recommended this also it's a good sign in how I should approach this task at hand 👍 I just got done with my normal early morning commute on the icebear Hawkeye 150cc scooter shes not a happy Girl , i had to baby the throttle keeping my speed under 30 mph taking back roads I'm definitely gonna work on her today if I can get myself up to the task I've cought a horrible cold/flu 🤒🤧🤕🤢 I believe it's from the cold early morning rides I be going on each morning...? Don't sweat the belt Kevin. Thirteen years ago I put a new Gates Kevlar belt in my 150cc scooter. "Made in China". Lots of companies are moving production there. That belt lasted 8,000 miles and I only changed it because I thought I should. And since you have nothing to lose, buff the instruments with tooth paste. Sometimes it works.
I appreciate your feedback on this because the kevlar belt did mind boggled me being that it said made in china I thought I actually got a knock off brand of a kevlar belt ? Yeah I am happy with the feel of it as it does feel like it's made out of good quality materials but in all in all it is my first purchase of a kevlar belt I'll have to see how long it will last I'm used to gates powerlink drive belts between the two belts gates powerlink & kevlar they both are much better then the stock bando belts right ...👍 Yeah it makes sense alot of manufacturers are In china
I bought the best Powerlink made from Aramid fiber. I was as surprised as anyone when "Made in China" was plastered all over it. I replaced it when I thought it felt like it was slipping. It was in fairly good shape with no cracking between teeth, After I replaced it with a new one I discovered my Seat of the Pants evaluation was wrong and the scooter still felt the same. Except, of course, that my gas mileage went from 65 to over 80 mpg with the new one.
Hey Kev can you do a video showing what the engine looks like on the Hawkeye under the seat. . I mean I can see it when I get my scooter but I'm just asking to see if you can do a video of it

I have it everyday I mix it with a glass of almond milk..God bless..
I think it would be a very good idea to talk about road safety, so many other videos, particularly on bicycles with lawnmower engines they break every road rule in the book, including blowing through stop signs and riding on sidewalks and you never ever do this. Please make a video only about Rhode safety as you ride your bike or scooter through Turlock.

I hear what your saying I watch alot of TH-cam and Come across content of other scooter owners riding dangerously all over the roadways and sidewalks I dont like seeing this it angers me and definitely frustrates me only if all motorists in two wheels ride appropriately I believe the 2 wheel community would have a better name ,again thanks for the topic buddy Happy-Holidays 🎄😁👍

What kind of scooter model do you have ...? I know Amazon sales speedometer dash clusters for the common 50cc scooters and 150cc scooters . If you need to order from the manufacturer try calling up vintage motorcycles by cajun mad dogs, when my scooter got stolen and recovered I needed the front assembly for my scooter I emailed icebear they responded back telling me they dont do business with customers only retailers , they said contact vintage motorcycles by cajun mad dogs to place my order and they will ship directly to me . I felt scetched out about making a purchase with no confirmation number or tracking just had to put my trust in it that it will turn out and 5 days later I had ups at my door leaving a icebear box and sure enough it was my front piece to my scooter with headlights and all ....😁👍 I recommend you to search Amazon for your speedo dash if they dont have it hit up vintage motorcycles by cajun mad dogs great people to work with ....👍

The only prob I have with my scooter is no parts unless you contact the company you bought it from..my speed/odometer dont work
