For anyone who’s still confused, “YOHIOloid” is simply the name of his voicebank, similar to how Gumi’s voicebank name is Megpoid or Gakupo’s is Gackpoid. The character that _represents_ YOHIOloid does not have a canon name.

Same with his pets actually, whose names all just come from the descriptions Hio’s illustrator gave them. so both Hio and his pets (except Cubi, but Cubi’s kind of also a self-descriptive name) all don’t have real names and are just named by description 😭

gdhhdhsh i think about that sometimes but I think logistically, PFX/VocaTone probably wouldn’t have been able to make a Swedish Vocaloid back in Hio’s time because Vocaloid didn’t have Swedish support (it only supports 5 languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish) so they would’ve had to make Vocaloid Swedish themselves, and VocaTone was already kind of struggling having to make two voicebanks for Hio in the first place 🥲
