      True I'm a black girl too and white people always respected me even in the south. They were nicer then the north and even the cops. I only seen 2 racist white people in my life that's it for now and I seen some racist black people too and even had one as my teacher. I just hate how some black people use there color as an exuse of their crimes. I remember last year back in middle school this boy who always say to the teachers your racist, just because I'm black and your sexist. One of the teachers were Spanish and she was telling at the boys because they weren't listening during the fire drill. It was 2 black boys and 1 Spanish boy and she was yelling at all of them right one of the black boys said your being racist just because I'm black and she said I was yelling at the Spanish kid too. Like I just hate how some black people try to make some things racist. Some of yall can hate me all you want it's the truth but George Floyd was a different story it might've have been a racist act or police abuse.

      ***** in the very specific context of American history, white people have not been enslaved, colonized, or forced to segregate on the scale that black people have. They do not face housing or job discrimination, police brutality, poverty, or incarceration at the level that black people do. This is not to say that they do not experience things like poverty and police brutality at all. But again, not on the same scale - not even close. That is the reality of racism.

      Well it still existed, to think other wise would be folly but the big difference is how society approaches it. We use to approach it in a more positive way that actually promoted bringing people together. Now activism has been heightened and some people in these groups are filled with anger and hate that they can't see their own bad behavior and racist/sexist views. They will paint a whole city or situation to being racist etc. Without examining the nuance of the problem. Some people in these groups including the leaders throw around baseless accusations at times and only see racism etc. Even when it may not exist. It's really screwed up and a horrible way to look at the world. They have turned themselves into part of the problem instead of finding a positive solution. A lot of media use to promote working together like the kid's show the Puzzle Place. Now it segregates people by blaming white people and men in general. It's f***ed up and damages the good progression we made. You can't bring people together through accusations and anger. The root of the problem is that this propaganda has been taught in the university setting with gender and race studies. When you have a degree in that subject guess what you can achieve with it?? The only thing you can do with that degree is non-profit activism. The only way to make money doing that is, spreading it. Anyone who has a degree in just this field, probably isn't very trustworthy for honesty because of these reasons. You go to university for a future career, so ask yourself, what do you get out of gender and race studies. Why would you sign up in the first place?? What is your mindset with that focus?? If you want to make a change in business, wouldn't it be more effective to take a business course and create your own?? As the owner, you can treat people fairly and promote appropriate behaviors. There are a ton of business owners out there already. People of different sexes and races. The gender studies course is extremely bias and at my university it promotes examines feminism, anti-racism, transgender, social justice issues, oppression etc. So you can see that it's already focused on one political objective. While these things are great to examine, the bigger point is the bias perspective being driven into people. And it started with the modern feminist movement. This "gender studies" course doesn't say, an examination on the differences between men and women, both positive and negative aspects. It's only hypersensitive to the oppression women face at the hands of men. It's not "gender studies", it's "feminist studies." Gender studies was pretty much non-existent in university back in the 90s and has only become what it is today in recent times. It's a bias program that encourages the very thing it claims to fight and its a problem that needs to be fixed or society will be majorly screwed up.

      Well then I guess I’m not completely absurd because I simply stated that “they have equal rights” and not that they have more. I and disgusted by the *mistreatment* of other races, however when people try to say that they don’t have the same rights- I want to go balistique. Also saying “your people” just shows how much you don’t understand what me and many other people believe. Not all whites are the same and that would be racism. I completely disagree with the hurting of black people, but again I say it’s a heart issue and not a right issue. That was so many years ago as well, and I’m so sorry that I just so happen to be part of a race that used to be putrid- but not all used to be putrid.
      I sympathize and put myself in a hurt person’s shoes and try to understand why their so hurt and I have an idea of it- I know that if I were there being *treated* differently I would be miserable.

      @wunnell 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      His analogy made perfect sense but if you've already made your mind up that he's wrong then you make yourself to dumb to understand. Allow me to elucidate.
      If three people order a hamburger and only two receive them and the third person complains and says "I deserve a hamburger", would the other two say "hey man, we all deserve a hamburger"? Of course they wouldn't, because they'd have to be morons. Everyone who ordered a hamburger deserves to get one but if some do get one and some don't, you focus on fixing the problem for those who didn't. Yes, all lives matter but if some are already treated like they do and others aren't then it's the ones who aren't that you focus your attention on fixing the problem for.
      Now, if you want to make an argument that black people already are treated as though their lives matter just as much as those of white people then you can make that argument. I disagree and will make a counter-argument but that's a conversation we can have. To pretend that you don't understand the point being made in the first place is rather pathetic though. If you have facts on your side then you don't need to resort to a strawman, which makes me wonder why so many do. Actually, I know why they do.

    In the 50s and 60s, black Americans fought every meaning of the word segregation. Now they segregate themselves (having their own tv channels, having their own months ect.), which I don’t necessarily have a problem with. The issue for me is the double standard.. if a television company made a channel dedicated for white people, or if their was a month dedicated specifically for white heritage, or if a white person wears a shirt that says “white pride” it’s immediately viewed as racist. Why does every other ethnicity get to be proud of their race except white people. Why do black people get to call me a white boy as if I’m supposed to be ok with that but if I label/identify a black person by their color, I would get confronted 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ That logic is idiotic to me.

      It's willful segregation. They're doing it to themselves (And actually it's all ethnicities but they've used white people as their scapegoat and turned the black communities into the victims) The Democrats have done this. Crafted lies and cultivated hatred and intolerance in the followers' hearts to direct it at their enemies. The rest of us. Anything that disagrees or threatens their power. Can't wait for Trump to win this election and get rid of these psychos trying to ruin our country

      I am completely confused with as to why you don’t understand why there is a black
      Television network. I guess it’s something you never noticed bc you were so comfortable with all of the regular networks not diversifying their platforms. Those black television networks were put in place to give opportunities to Black people because there was only space for a select few on the “non-black” platforms.
      You can’t be that unaware

      I's seeing a lot of reverse racism. Were those individuals that feel oppressed, become the oppressors themselves. Those individuals that are calling out racist are racist also.
