When I had my first mushroom trip, the high notes of 16:53 onwards (Can't tell me nothing) really got into my brain; if that makes any sense. I could hear it for miles. And then 37:41 on the come up! Phenomenal feeling.
the cant tell me nothin sample is from an unreleased ye song called last name / slave name. The original song sampled is called wally wilder by delicate steve. The Touch the Sky sample is from a sunday service performance, and samples this is the day by fred hammond. It's sometimes referred to as lift your voice if you're trying to find ye's beat. They're both from the yandhi era, so if you like them, you'll probably like a lot of the music from that time. :)
This project is phenomenal, It's all condensed into this explosive medley, shit's mind melting.
It's funny actually, that the project should start with that Daft Punk sample, considering how they melded their own discography to create a similar world-shattering spectacle in 2007. The aftershock of which totally changed the face of electronic music.
If there's an argument against intellectual property, its probably in this mixtape.

I'm honestly speechless. As a Ye fan since only around early 2022, his music has changed my life in such a short amount of time and I've been hearing pretty much his entire discography and unreleased material ever since, so to me noticing all these different vocals and instrumentals and knowing where most of them come from it's pretty amazing to me. Not only does this mixtape sound gorgeous, it is smoothhhh and put together so creatively, thank you for making this, for real.
