Hi Nixon, Keep up the good work! The latest perfume " Laverne Atlantis" smells like hybrid of "Creed Silver Mountain Water" and Lattafa Khashabi". Thanks
So would you say Laverne fragrances are better/longer lasting than Gissah? Which one would you recommend between the two? Would love to know since I'm kindda torn between them and Gissah at least is available in UAE to try before buying 😅 but with Laverne it will all be a blind buy adventure for me 🎉🎉🎉
@@smellycatreviews oh no! The Gissah kiosk sales associates in Al Ain are super nice and helpful (even though most of them do not even speak English well 😬) you should come to Al Ain Bawadi Mall and buy Gissah perfumes from 🙃 One last question, are Laverne fragrances worth blind buying? I've over 6 Ibraheem Al Quraishi fragrances and I love them all! Are Laverne in similar lines as IAQ scents? Would really appreciate your response! I'm thinking of getting Orchid Valley and Lady Rose Bloom. Thanks!
@@pixelsndimensions4550 yes but unfortunately their newer batch of perfumes doesn't perform as well as their older ones. I think it might be just the most recent batches coz I sprayed La Luna on a tester strip and usually even an average quality perfume lasts at least a full 24 hours on paper, but La Luna just disappeared overnight! That was truly disappointing. I feel Gissah is now just churning out new bottles without letting the perfume "age" (not macerate or oxidize). In all honestly, all Middle Eastern brands are now just selling without much thought to quality, because they already achieved their fame and name 😒 I have over 8 Laverne perfumes and 4 Gissah and I really don't see much difference quality wise. In fact price point is better on Laverne any day.
Awesome video. My favorite is the Lador Bakhoor, the OG. I managed to purchase 3 when it launched, but barring one, they have all vanished from my cupboard. Huge compliment getter and one of the best perfumes in my collection. Cant wait to purchase again once it is back in stock. Btw please try for us the Saudi brand Assaf. They are as popular as Laverne, but their website is in Arabic.
Blue Laverne actually performs quite well. For the kind of scene it is, I've been getting good performance. Phantom has always been out of stock when I've wanted to pick it up.
@@h35466 lately Gissah perfumes haven't been performing as well as they used to is because I believe they reformulated some of their fragrances. My friend bought the Gissah Valley set batch early 2024 and it's super long lasting and projecting. However I bought my Valley set batch July 2024 and all 3 perfumes barely last 8 hours 😩 from the tester strip they all but disappeared (which is strange coz usually on paper even normal budget perfumes last longest) Gissah bottles are falling apart too. My La Luna bottle top part completely came off and the name plaque fell off within a day 🤷 I prefer Laverne because not only is their quality good, their bottles are sturdy, but also coz unlike Gissah, Laverne does amazing combo offers and discounts. So does Ibrahim Al Qurashi, who also do brilliant Middle Eastern niche fragrances. That's been my personal experience. I've bought over 8 Laverne fragrances, because I'm happy with the value for money plus quality products. I've over 12 fragrances from Ibrahim Al Qurashi for same reason. Hi there! This brand sounds very genuine! I’m going to see where I can get it in Australia ( 😳) Which one did you say was like Hacivat? I'm looking for an alternative to layer with Hundred Silent Ways - so divine! - and I've heard they layer so beautifully. I doubt very much that anything can replicate HSL, but I could be wrong. Another love is BDK Gris Charnel. Love your videos, I'll be following 100%!

I blind bought Miss Laverne and I can honestly say it's a 10/10 from me. It's extremely beautiful, very feminine and very deeply floral. Not at all like any other Middle Eastern fragrances, it's got a very distinct Dior vibe to it (I found out that the "nose" behind it is the same as one who did Dior and Caroline Herrera perfumes) very safe blind buy if you are familiar with Dior Rose N Roses or Dior Forever and Ever ❤
