I forget how its done but isn't there a way to make instruments play backwards on the genesis, As in the wave is played in the other direction. I know there's a feature for it in Deflemask. SSG I think its called, not sure what setting does it.
Yeah ur right it is called SSG, I do use it sometimes one of my most common ones is on the Hammond Organ patch i use which is taken from Beavis and Butthead. It makes it almost sound like a PCM sample
