- YOU... don't want none. hello, i'm doctorayes. this is my metal remix of aj style's new wwe theme song, "you don't want none" featuring stevie stone. this song had potential, but the instrumental track is pretty lame, and the song structure is messed up. for my remix, i tried taking some elements from evil ways for the intro, added an organ from his og theme, and then free styled the rest. a dubstep aj styles theme COULD work but this shit is just UNDERCOOKED. stevie stone does awesome on the vocals like he always does, he's really versatile, the southern verse he does is fantastic

dude I've been listening to your version of this song so much more. you're absolutely right about the OG being undercooked, man. you actually used the intro rap as a chorus. they just use it once and then the rest is just a trashy instrumental. you actually utilize the HYPE the intro brings

I feel like one of the few people who actually likes "You Don't Want None", but holy shit, this is incredible. It feels like an updated version of "Evil Ways" and I love it.

yea i think it’s totally a fine song the issue is that it just doesn’t match with the character whatsoever and the OG song itself is a bit too generic for AJ to use… the instrumental track itself is just kind of… interesting? i don’t really know what to feel so i just made my own to see the songs actual potential
@@DocAyes Personally I think that it actually does fit his current character. It’s heavily Evil Ways inspired which there’s even a nod to it in the song but regardless, you did great work on this remix.
@@DocAyes The OG song was 50-second redneck anthem on loop that they originally made for James Storm but just turned hip-hop for AJ Styles once he came in and Storm didn't. That shit needed to either be mashed up with Evil Ways, reworked for more content and energy, or just straight up dumped. Felt that way since day one.
His new theme actually tries incorporate AJ's character as the phenomenal yet gritty athlete who occasional becomes very bitter, with his Southern roots being an underlying part of him instead of the front and center. Middle section without Stevie does feel a bit undercooked; needed a guitar solo and an additional verse to be more of a complete song. What you did, on top of being fire as a remix, actually gives an idea what those missing parts would sound like.
It’s a good theme I mean he chose it so he must like it 😊

That is fucking amazing. Holy shit. A Rap and metal mix together. Now that is fucking awesome. That fits aj alot more. My only complaint is remove you don't want no one and use the evil ways intro and then that song.
The beginning is very nice but I'm not really feeling the middle part of the song 🤷🏻♂️
Much better than the original, I can feel that you tried to make it sound good, def rebel did a really bad job with the transitions in this song, especially the repetitive "You don't want none".
All in all, it's a good improvement! You're great! Please keep up the good work! I hope to hear more of your original concept songs in the future!

The guitar in this version feels like it functions like a kind of connective tissue that's oddly missing from the original; takes his theme from decent idea to fully realized behemoth.

I did think this song was a tad over-hated since Stone always does such a great job, but you've encapsulated it perfectly. It just feels unfinished. This instrumentation is way more memorable and serve the lyrics better. Awesome job!
