I am autistic. Its probably impossible to know exactly what causes our neurodivergence but there is a lot reference to conditions that present as autism going back thousands of years...to the dawn of human writing. Vaccines can also not be the cause as we see this neurotype in children who have not been vaccinated. I believe that it is a divergence stemming from natural genetic mutation in the population and that it presents, often, with certain gifts (not just hardships.) I too had seizures. Many more in childhood but I had a long lasting seizure in my 2020, as an adult. I also know that autistics are not less intelligent...but as we struggle most with social situations it can be harder to see our strengths. I DO believe baser on studies I have read and my own experiences that autistics can present with exaggerated traits when stressed, tired, malnourished and bored. I have read studies showing that autistic children have greater difficulty excreting heavy metals. This is not to say that heavy metals cause autism. Only that we might be more prone to showing negative effects from toxic substances sooner. (,As a child my mum referred to me as a canary in a mine...I would present with symptoms faster and more aggressively than those who were not of my neurotype..for the most part.)
I have immune dysfonctions through the entirety of my life. A year not too long ago I got the flu 5 or 6 times the same year. It all started since I was very young I was always sick for every reasons possible every year. It is impossible to not admited that theres is something about my autism in the way my immune system works.

I had epilepsy and had seizures 3 times a week from 14 yrs to 29.. I got pregnant at 29 and since I had my daughter I haven't had not 1 seizure in over 9 yrs.. I don't know if the hormones changes the chemical imbalance or that my subconscious knows I can't be having seizures with a child or if my families prayers were answered? what I do know is that seizures are horrific and can cause major harm. I was lucky that mine always lasted only a few short minutes. I would not wish them on my enemies. The only thing I notice is from age 14 to 29 I don't have many memories as the seizures affected that part of my brain. Things happen for a reason they say. was it a miracle?? I'd like to think so... Jett is with God now.. God bless him and those who are affected by seizures. I am proof that they can suddenly stop even as an adult.. When i was a child my parents got new carpet in are home i had a bad reaction to the chemicals used in the carpet i almost died and the doctors told my parents that i had Kawasaki disease 25 years later iam still feeling it i have damaged nerves in my legs its hard for me to do things iam 27 years old and i had 11 surgeries in my life and now i have bad arthritis in my legs it really sucks
Carpet cleaner is powerful stuff. I hate being exposed to it every time they clean the carpets at work. It smells so strong. The problem is it stays in the carpet. Babies got to crawl all over those chemicals and breathe it too, and their little nose & lungs are so close to the ground.
I knew of a child who after getting surgery reacted strangely to anesthesia. Afterward he stopped talking and regressed. It wasn't the first time the therapist helping the family saw something like this. Strange.

I’ve had seizures on and off since I was a baby and once I got on Keppra I really seen a difference and been seizure free since! I never said I had a medical degree or anything I got put on Keppra at 12 because of 2 seizures I had that year and since I’ve been taking Keppra I never had suicidal thoughts or anything and I wasn’t depressed on Keppra I think it’s done the opposite I have less anxiety when I take Keppra! I know Keppra isn’t for everyone but it does help for people who do need it.. You never know what someone is going through seizures are really scary and traumatizing for the person who has them and whatever it takes to help them get seizure free is a whole lot better then having seizures everyday for the rest of your life so if that means being on Keppra then so be it...

My twins daughters have seizures and autism. My oldest twin medication under control. 2nd daughter on 2 different seizures medication still having seizures every 5 -10 day.. medication not 100% for everyone.

The only thing I notice is from age 14 to 29 I don't have many memories as the seizures affected that part of my brain. Things happen for a reason they say. was it a miracle?? I'd like to think so... Jett is with God now.. God bless him and those who are affected by seizures. I am proof that they can suddenly stop even as an adult.. I still take medication .( Lamotrigine) but only a small dose..THERE'S HOPE!

Carpet cleaner is powerful stuff. I hate being exposed to it every time they clean the carpets at work. It smells so strong. The problem is it stays in the carpet.
Babies got to crawl all over those chemicals and breathe it too, and their little nose & lungs are so close to the ground.
I knew of a child who after getting surgery reacted strangely to anesthesia. Afterward he stopped talking and regressed. It wasn't the first time the therapist helping the family saw something like this. Strange.

I’ve had seizures on and off since I was a baby and once I got on Keppra I really seen a difference and been seizure free since! I never said I had a medical degree or anything I got put on Keppra at 12 because of 2 seizures I had that year and since I’ve been taking Keppra I never had suicidal thoughts or anything and I wasn’t depressed on Keppra I think it’s done the opposite I have less anxiety when I take Keppra! I know Keppra isn’t for everyone but it does help for people who do need it.. You never know what someone is going through seizures are really scary and traumatizing for the person who has them and whatever it takes to help them get seizure free is a whole lot better then having seizures everyday for the rest of your life so if that means being on Keppra then so be it...

How does it harm anyone? It was merely her personal feeling of the situation with her own son. On a side note, physicians can be M.D.'s as well as D.O.'s. Both are "real" physicians.
