Some stray thoughts on shows Beej didn't watch which I've seen thus far: Sengoku Youko has been pretty excellent thus far, just a very compelling piece of oddball action-fantasy with some very solid direction, the use of line weight of all things being particularly striking; Bucchigiri initially had some weird tone stuff going on which put me off despite its excellent production values, but the dramatic turn in the back half of the series was extremely effective and the series has completely won me over; The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is really uneven and deeply silly but also better than it has any right to be and brimming with a humane sincerity that most narou-kei iisekai series seem to lack.
