Is there a company that makes/specializes in hive making machines?
Right now I'm "mass producing" everything.... hive bodies, slatted racks, inner covers, vented ICs, telescoping covers, EVERYTHING with two "Lowe's" grade table saws, a sliding miter chop, a radial arm drill press, and hand tools.
I see these machines and I need a dang bucket to catch the drool. They take a 4 tool, 5 step, 2 hour process to make 20 items, and turn it into a 1-2 tool, 15 min process for 50 items.
Holy crap I need some of these machines!
Is there one company that supplies all the machines?
Are there multiple companies that I'd need to shop through?
Or are they all custom build machines?
I'm in the USA on the "mid-south East coast" if that makes a difference.

Danny, I see 1 sliding miter saw, 2 table saws and a shaper table. The only custom machine is the finger jointer. I see the manufacturer always giving his contact info in the comments, but this is the internet and could be a scammer. I would think a local welder/machinists could create a finger jointer, but at what cost?
In case you or anyone else looking didn't know: the 2nd table saw has a stacked dado blade at either 3/4-1 inch and a 2x4 sacraficial fence to get the correct frame depth. The shaper/molder has a bit in it called the bee box hand hold bit.
This setup is very efficient. Now if you want to build frames, that is a whole different ballpark.

@@buildingwithtrees2258 yes, the box joint machine in this video is what I'm talking about when I say "machines".
Right now, I'm using my largest table saw permanently in a dado set up, the smaller is for ripping, and cutting 1/8"-1/4" grooves.
But making those box joints on the table saw, even with a jig, is a LOT more time consuming and prone to error than the machine he has in the video.
I know other machines for hive component production exist as well, I just don't know where to get them.
As for the hand holds, I built a jig for my "dado table saw" to cut my handles, and that works just fine. I may someday buy the router bit, but I don't have a need for it now.
What I DO need, is away to turn "multiple repeat cuts/steps" into a one step process.
Like that box joint machine..... That takes a 6 cut, 12 step process and turns it into a two step, "one cut" process.
Now what I'd REALLY like, is to have the cutting head/s, from that machine, put into a table saw type platform, so I could clamp 10-15 boards together, cut one side, flip, cut the other side, and BAM! I've gone from 10 boards requiring a 120 cut, 240 step process, to a 2 cut, 4 step process. (Each side on each board requires 6 cuts/12 steps currently)
Another machine that would be awesome, is an auto squaring/clamping machine.
Just apply glue, place boards, and hit the foot switch and the machine ensures the box is true and square, and clamped tightly. Then all I have to do is pop the nails/Staples in and it's done. No measuring, holding, clamping etc required.

Rip cutting first would increase production across table saw by the amount of time it takes between boards times the number of sides in a plank. Minus one time unit if you want to be accurate
