I’ve well and truly fallen in love with this show. Its heart, its hope, and all of its profoundly human moments. Season 1 was basically a perfect season of television. But by choosing to go deeper into the characters and explore their inner conflicts, season 2 in many ways elevated the show even further. It’s rare to see these kinds of difficult topics explored on TV, and the fact that Ted Lasso did it so accurately & sensitively, is just incredible.
So, I just wanted to say thank you. This show means so much to so many people, for a million different reasons. That, in and of itself, is extraordinary. I also just wanted to give a quick shout out to Nick Mohammed, whose brilliant performance made us fall in love with Nate the underdog, then rage against his behaviour, and then, in one heartbreaking moment, maybe even feel a tiny bit of empathy for him again. The entire cast is spectacular though. From Hannah (is-there-a-better-actress-on-TV-right-now?!) Waddingham, to Jason’s subtle, layered & devastatingly real portrait of Ted’s struggles this year. What a performance.
Anyway. Onward… forward… to season 3 :)

I agree. There are so many incredible scenes across both seasons, but there's something about the darts scene that gets me every time ♥ Although, it's probably tied with Ted's "never gonna let anybody get by me without understanding they might be hurting inside” scene. That was truly extraordinary.

Apple should pick this up as a promo for the next season. I agree with the other comments. The editing, the music, the chosen scenes are absolutely brilliant and spot on. This is a true masterpiece in editing scenes with different sections of a song and marketing for a show. Amazing.

As someone that struggles with depression every day, there are times where I feel just emotionless and numb. One of my favorite things about Ted Lasso, is that no matter how many times I watch an episode, there is a wave of emotions that come over me. This show just opens you up to so many feelings, to where even when I might breakdown crying during an episode, there is a warm feeling behind that. This video perfectly encapsulates all of the feelings of this wonderful show. Thank you for making this, when I have my days where I feel numb, its videos like this that help me to just feel my feelings, and keep going forward. Thank you.

This is easily the best Ted Lasso edit on TH-cam. The way the music builds to the hug. Good gravy.
Perhaps the best summary of the show through its first two seasons. Just every choice was perfect. And I loved all of the things that showed Nate’s downfall, but didn’t come out and say it. I shed many tears during this. Masterful!
The reaction after Jamie hits his Dad is perfect. It is not a exciting, victorious moment, he just shuts down. It is that terror of having someone who is supposed to care for you be the person who hurts you the most. Saying he is an awful person doesn't help, knowing your father is terrible doesn't make you feel better it just makes it hurt more.

OP said it all. This show hits me and my family on so many levels. As a man, as a former coach, and as a 20 year teacher I laugh and I cry with this show.
Only 2 programs have ever made me cry. MASH, scrubbs( when dr cox has a breakdown) there's a third now. And an edit too.
This show perfectly captures two things 1. The human condition 2. Perseverance in the face of adversity.

Be curious not judgmental is this shows mantra. Ted is a fantastic character but, Roy, Keeley Higgins, mrs H give it heart. No wonder it wins all the awards
I hope if people are seeing this for the first time they don't think Ted's big emotional moments are all throughout the show. It's the opposite. They hit so hard because they come out of nowhere for us just like they do him. Catches everyone off guard.

I do not usually go for vids that include dialogue at all, but this is MASTERFULLY done and so beautiful. Great song selection because the lyrics complement the message and tone of the video beautifully, but this version is so sparse that it gives you plenty of room to work with your sound clips without getting things over crowded or hard to understand. Beautiful choice in sound clips and beautiful job pairing them with other moments from the show. Wonderful.
Ted lasso to me is such a perfect show. Growing up as a coaches son, and seeing my dad be like Ted throughout the show really got me going. The hardest times are not ever really shown by people, and a constant ray of sunshine like ted and my father changing lives no matter what people think of them is indescribable. I truly love this show. Barbecue sauce.

Ted Lasso is a role model. Especially for all of us dads out there. One of my favorite parts of this series is his relationship with his son and even the way he handles the relationship with his ex-wife
