Hey Bacha, I was thinking you could try out the Artic rod at the bottom of the Northern Expedition, in my opinion it is the BEST starter rod, it has decent lure speed, good luck, decent resilience AND 50k+ max kg, meaning you can catch a meg and if you don't believe me, I caught an ancient meg.
