Hey Mr. Zealand, appreciate the content. I'd be interested in a video about planning your next seasons squad. When do you start looking into your squad, deciding who to let go, who to sign. You don't want to have to scout players the last minute. I'd imagine halfway through the season when players regularly have 6 months left on their contract?
I am new to FM, at my second savegame now, where I try to take York to PM. After two seasons I have gained two promotions and have reached league 2, but money is short and every transfer count. And since I cant afford the really good players I have to go through a "guessing game" every time I try to get someone in. So this video sounds promising,at least before I start watching it. Hopefully I can learn something :)

A lot of your videos are useful for smaller clubs but could you do video about if you come into a big club where you have high exceptions but low budgets? Twice in my save I’ve come into two clubs which have asked me to challenge for the title but with very old fairly weak squad and then given me lousy transfer budgets and 20% sell on. Brazilian wonder kids to be developed over multiple seasons won’t cut it and the European elite players can be afforded. Really useful videos btw! I’ve been playing for a few years and I’ve learnt so much.

Likes to beat the offside trap is nice, as is plays one-twos. You really need players with great anticipation, off the ball, and acceleration to make this work well.
Can u make a video on unhappy players who come to manager for contracts or not enough playing time or being left out of the squad. And also those who reject contract offers because they are supposedly unhappy even though their morale is high and it's something small they are unhappy about.
@@OuvinteAmigao I shut them down if they already got contracts given before. Bugs me when they do that or lack of playing time even if squad player is getting squad playing time
But sometimes I don't want to buy someone because I know he WILL be beter than the person playing on that position but I'm emotionally attached to the players that are already in my team :(

I have a question - I get amazing youth prospects from the intake every year, but I have no staff on my U19 and B team except for head coaches (the max salary I can offer is much lower than the min salary the staff want) But my senior team staff is amazing. I'm afraid keeping them in my u19 squad will hinder their process. Should I move the youth players to my senior team? I could make them available for B team and U19 matches. I just want them to keep developing Thanks for your help!
The amount of pain is directly proportionate to the grandeur of the robbery you're pulling off with the sale. If the squad starts moaning about it, promise to bring in a much better player and deliver on that promise.
Hey I have a question if anyone would be willing to answer this. I have the in game editor, and I wanted to know if the in game editor has any kind of effect on game itself in terms of player development or some other aspect of the game? For some reason I have the idea in my head that having the in game editor active during a save, will slow the development of players in general. I'm probably overthinking this but I'm hoping someone could clarify this for me. Thanks :)

I'm sure you get asked this all the time, but what are you using for those regen faces? I rarely take a save past 5-10 years, and I think it's because my immersion breaks when I start seeing more regen faces than real. As always, fantastic content, takes someone special like yourself to keep my his enthusiastic about a game I put several thousand hours into each year xD

I love your vids, but that guy is not a centre back, no bravery, no jumping, no positioning and injury prone. He'll probably be good enough for the domestic league, but nowhere worldclass.

I just got bad memories about players lacking these skills in that position in a kinda similar save in the Romanian competition. Still very exciting to see his progress!

yeah, half of my team keeps asking for improved contracts all the time... even the ones that already receive high values... :/
