I thought Spain allows a fast-track to citizenship if you are married to a Spaniard; he could become a Spanish citizen after living in Spain for one year. Is the problem because he was only there for three months? My heart breaks for you; my husband finally became a Canadian Canadian citizen. The struggle to do so long and hard. But worth it. Keep fighting and no you are loved and supported.
Gerry Gramozis , Excellent point! I am glad that your husband finally got his Canadian citizenship! I assumed that marriage would automatically give Guillaume his Spanish citizenship. Surely it cannot be denied to him now - even, if he has to live in Spain for a year to get it!
