Training through autumn 2010.
I injured my groin in August on triplecork attempt. I was out from tricking for two months. This sampler was meant to be made couple of months earlier and it was supposed to tell about my recovery. Due to GIGA gathering, NY gathering and Panda gathering I didn't have time to make this sampler earlier and I find it a good thing because I learned a lot about tricking at those gatherings. Here is no footage (except couple of clips from Germany after GIGA) from gatherings but this shows a little part of my training at home, little part of my normal, daily life. I'm sad this sampler isn't as good quality as it could be because I wasn't familiar with new editing program, sorry about that.
I met and got to know a lot of really amazing people this year. Being at gatherings have been the highlights of this year for me for sure. I'm glad tricking community is growing and I've been given the opportunity to meet so many of you guys. I hope I'll see you soon again and I can't wait to meet more trickers who I haven't had the pleasure to meet yet.
I also wanna say thanks for all of my friends, my team, my family and the whole tricking community for supporting me and pushing me forward.

@AweakenedKing 6 and a half years. When I started I didn't have any background though so it was hard to get started. If you wanna start by yourself search for some tutorials here on youtube and visit site called trickstutorials

@KidJKAV standing on the bar at the edge of a trampoline and flipping into the middle helps because if you land it you know you can land it on the floor. Thats assuming you can already do flips on a trampoline lol

@FlowUrbanFlow of course he would be good at freerunning. freerunning is a hell of a lot easier and when you are good at tricking you are by default the best at everything you do.

Much respect! Saw your tricks back in 2009 in Cologne. We tricked together. You even let me do my btwist to cork combo in the gathering and gave me some spotlight. Very humble attitude. You power and that from guthrie were really evolution back then. Thank you! ❤

hey vellu pls reply, im 14 and i want to learn tricking i am really scared of getting hurt like breaking my neck, and idk where i can practice this, like at my home there is pretty much all concrete and at school theres grass but i barely get the chance to try and tricking moves, also what move should i start out with

@ixcreme try and find any local gym and see if the have an 'Open Gym" where you can mess around and learn how to trick. Grab a couple friends who seem interested in it as well as you and start together. Your friends can help you and each other learn faster and always help each other. If you don't have any gyms around try on mats, mattresses, sand, trampoline and grass. Chances are there is SOME gym within reasonable distance from where ever you live. Good luck! :)
Holy fucking shit, this is awesome. I looked up a video just for this music on youtube and then when I found a video containing just this music (which is awesome) I read the comments and saw many people were brought to that video by this video. Which is even more awesome because I am actually a tricker myself and it's awesome I got sent to a tricking video by a music video very few people listen to to begin with. So a small community sending me to a small community I am a part of as well.. cool!

@ixcreme Oh and start with front tucks, back tucks, and handsprings. Getting the basics are really important. You can find tutorial for this on youtube and around the internet. Also you each should learn how to "spot" eachother if your going to be learning outside. Oh and work different kicks every day and stretch everyday! hope this helps!
Hey im kinda new to tricking i just started a month ago. Ian cutlip ( idk if u heard of him hes part of team EH ) has been teaching me right now im working on a double full on the trampoline. But anyways i wanted to know how long have u been tricking and like how long was it b4 u started getting really good? Btw im looking forward to seeing u and guthrie go at it again
generally I dont like tricksters with all these forget about technique and try to do more stuff, but You Vellu got a technique and got style and honestly I admire you.. fly high and may the gravity be always one jump behind You.

@KidJKAV me try it from a 1m Platfrom into Water. Then im almost good ad Diving ( look at my channel ) .... i became the feelings of flipping so i started something on ground.

@Tmjoe45 Depends on your sports background, how good you are to adapting, and your physical build. Dont worry about how fast it goes mate, embrace the situation and enjoy it. Go practice it ;)

Did u take gymnastics aor martial arts to help. Im ok at parkour and freerunning byt im wondering if you are self taught. if you could reply id appreciate it. Btw if you didnt take classes where did u practice(im guessing in a gymnastics gym)
@KidJKAV Get a spotter and learn it @ a trampline or something...
2nd tip.. just pull it, a lot of people have this fear (me included) its natural, if you have a spotter nearly nothing can happen.. be confidend, youll make it :)

It's rather easy, find a local gymnastics center or empty soccer field, then find you local hardware store and buy some fertilizer to grow some balls and try. :D

@daniboytheoneandonly Okay yeah, they don't do ALL of this. But they land some of these tricks clean. And I really like a clean landing (: But I agree on Steve Terada, he's great with both tricks and landings.
