    Its so crazy to actually see a story rather than just hearing the voice through headphones! Lore was my very first podcast and began my love of them now I listen to around 10 regularly but Lore will always be my favourite ☺️

    Hi. I watched the 2 seasons you have on Amazon a couple years ago and recently have begun listening to your podcasts through Apple’s app.
    I am so fascinated by the stories that I decided to search for you on TH-cam and start with your very first video from a year ago. Thank you so much for creating the content.
    I do wish you had more seasons on Amazon, though. 😊😊😊

    Hi Aaron and the team! Congratulations on branching out to video! I love this format, just like a friend telling you a great tale - because isn’t this the fundamental setting of folklore, a personal, intimate experience, which makes sharing stories so spooky and deeply haunting. Cannot wait to hear more! 😁

    I am super excited about this. I love Lore and Cabinet of Curiosities. Am I the only one who feels like the volume isnt loud enough? Thank you for your continued quality content Aaron.

    Great episode! I loved seeing you and the story. It was REALLY quiet, though. I had my TH-cam and computer volumes both at max and still had trouble hearing it.

    Actually watching Aaron Saying "I'm Aaron Mahnke, and this is Lore" is so weird.

    Yes - I LOVE this. I've been missing Lore since I transitioned to work from home and don't really listen to podcasts anymore. Thank you for putting it up on TH-cam! One thing I'm noticing on this video, the audio level seems to be really low, I usually listen at like 20% and had to crank this video up to almost 100%.

  • @noxii3869
    @noxii3869 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Really cool, however I feel like it would be more amazing if it was read from like an old chair with a table and a candle and like some cozy and dark and rustic atmosphere.

  • @aiwubf
    @aiwubf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Love this so far. I know the production would take much longer but adding some more visuals would be awesome. I know it's all about the podcast, but you'd do so much better on TH-cam with the visual aspect. Keep going, been loving your podcasts since the beginning!

      @lorepodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I appreciate it. This, however, is the style we aimed for: a simple storytelling experience, without visuals or clutter. Thanks.

      And It doesn't have to be super complex, just a map here and there, photos of the explorers, or the environment, that would help. But all and all, great to see my favorite podcast on the platform.

    • @lorepodcast
      @lorepodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Again, all of those things are easy to type out. But each image requires time to search up, find one that has the proper Creative Commons rights, is the right size and resolution for a 4k video, etc. And then each and every one of those needs inserted during the production process, edited, and credited. I understand the desire to see things, though...thanks!

    • @aiwubf
      @aiwubf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lorepodcast I agree that it is not easy, I'm a video editor myself and it is tough for sure. I don't think you need to worry about the quality of the images, 4k isn't needed for historic images and the audience will understand the rough quality. I'm just trying to see how this can differentiate from the podcasts. I get seeing Aaron read them out is drawing people in, but nothing else reaches out and keeps you watching on the screen besides a few captions or quotes. You could just put this on in another tab and browse like you normally do with a podcast, but to actually excel at the TH-cam medium some more visuals might be what you need. If Lore is going to put the effort into reaching into TH-cam, I want to see it do well. And maybe I'm wrong, maybe the Lore audience will still come in droves because they're dedicated, but the visual medium, especially on TH-cam, is a tough thing to do well. I aim to give some creative critiques about this, and want to see it flourish. I wish every luck and will be watching for updates!

    Lore is my favourite podcast, Aaron's voice and rhythm is calming and easy to take in, and for someone with auditory sensitivity it's gold worth to be able to put my headphones on and be able to fase out almost everything else when I need quiet moment. And the topic is always interesting to boot! So big thanks to Aaron and Co for helping me keep my sanity!
