This was mesmerizing...ohh my god❤ although I was not able to understand the language but the way she expressed the words,it explained it all..the emotions she showed and the quick and smooth shift from one emotion to another made me wonder.... A wonderful performance by a Wonderful Artist...
Wow! just wow! What a privilege to be able to get up in the morning and get to watch something so exquisite! I’ve always mostly watched bharathanatyam but not much Mohiniyattam. Indian dances have such unique characteristics to them. My totally non-technical observation is that this combines the spirit of Bharathanatyam, the theatrical feel of Kathakkali and grace of Odissi! Superb dancer, so beautiful as well, and the music, Ahiri ragam is divine! I’ve noticed that Kerala dances have such high quality music to go with and they also impart a mystical feeling. A big keralaphile here 😊 although not originally from Kerala.

Mohiniyattam is Classical dance form of Kerala, a state in India. The movements of mohiniyattam dancer must resemble the movement of a paddy plant in wind...that much flexibility is needed to perform this dance form

Wow! just wow! What a privilege to be able to get up in the morning and get to watch something so exquisite! I’ve always mostly watched bharathanatyam but not much Mohiniyattam. Indian dances have such unique characteristics to them. My totally non-technical observation is that this combines the spirit of Bharathanatyam, the theatrical feel of Kathakkali and grace of Odissi! Superb dancer, so beautiful as well, and the music, Ahiri ragam is divine! I’ve noticed that Kerala dances have such high quality music to go with and they also impart a mystical feeling. A big keralaphile here 😊 although not originally from Kerala.
