It's really impressive that Goodwood Road & Racing channel are casting/posting this event on TH-cam. I don't know if Rolex are helping, if so then they deserve some thanks as well. Racing fans love this stuff. It's not often telecast on TV any more. But we get a highly professional coverage of the race, with quality commentary, pit interviews and driver interviews. I'm Australian and unfamiliar with some of the modified US cars from 80s and 90s. The red/white Motorcraft V8 sports car, #65 in Group 4B, race finishing at about 2hr:13min. Is it based on a fox body Mustang? That car looks and sounds awesome. The Americans here will know exactly which car I'm referring to. The car is one of those iconic race cars which people don't forget. I need it confirmed. I think it's based on a fox body but I don't know for sure.
@lesflynn4455 I only see the corvette maybe I'm not at the right time but they had a red mercury capri IMSA GTO car and a few roush built mustang GTO/trans am cars. Either way the car definitely ran late 80s IMSA GTO class or Trans Am
@@zachdebuhr6347 I haven't seen it yet but I will also assume it's a Trans Am Capri such as Willie T Ribbs ran.
All these race cars are made to look similar to production cars but are out-and-out race cars.

Blue Mk2 at 8:50. Obviously next year I need to slow down and mess with the small bore cars if I want to be on TV.
