At this point they’re just adding to a deep very solid catalogue. Still one of my favorite live bands. So much fun to see in person and this song will definitely be a good live song.
It may not be what I was hoping for from them exactly, but what does it matter ? They're are going to do what they choose, and I'm always going to be a fan. Love them ❤✝️
The lyrics made me love this song even more. Honestly, one of my favorite Prada singles of all time. For such a heavy band this was a beautiful masterpiece and shows their growth. The lyrics really hit home with me too
I said in my reaction that the chorus is a straight copy of the melody from the song "Don't Stop" by Innerpartysystem (an old electronic rock band that disbanded in 2011). Not sure if that was on purpose or just a fluke but either way I find the song catchy but far from their best work. I wonder how many other people caught the melody part like me... also GUCCI :)
Color decay is probably one of the best albums for me, so this is certainly different but am enjoying the direction they are taking. Such a great sing along chorus, and am sure will be awesome live
Ouch, @metalbirb. I mean, 6.6? Is that based from your expectation of TDWP or music of this genre in general? You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but that rating seems incredibly harsh, and possibly influenced by your followers (a tad) from the pre-listen. I like TDWP, although I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but I thought the song was at least a 7.5-8 in rating. Different verses, catchy/sing-a-long chorus that would be fun to jam to live, good production, a nice little breakdown to mix up the flow, and good lyrics. Honestly, I'm baffled at your 6.6, but maybe you'll think otherwise after another listen. Love your channel, though, and I still respect your opinion. Much love.
I don’t like how to the clean vocalist just seems to be taking more and more control in this band but still a pretty decent song. I like the cleans to break up the harsh vocals, not the other way around
GOOCHIEEEEEEEEE honestly, i loved it. I felt energy throughout the song. It was a little different than what we'd normally expect from TDWP but i liked it alot. The lyrics are always on point and I loved the video too
Color Decay quickly became one of my favorite albums in recent years. i think this new song gets better as it goes. by then end, i've had a good time, but the intro is absolutely awful. that generic synth and then the BMTH style drop almost turns me off every single listen
I thought the song was good, but it’s too modern metal / octane core for me. The sound is being used by everyone, I just miss the With Roots version of the band.
This song was solid and refreahing. Youre all being dumb. The way the "bad desicioooo-ons-" being brought high in the chorus gives such a good spice to the chorus not to mention the breakdowns being that different-sounding while maintaining the structure of the original rhythm. Unappreciated musicality from people who care too much about grungy headbanging to recognize artistry imo
I fully agree with the Decisions high note, full of flavor and makes the chorus... And the drop out from the chorus is also good... It's not their best song but definitely not the worst /boring one..

Did you really say they're "just like a rock band now"? Like, even if this song was 100% poppy, their entire last album was heavy as hell.
Am I the only one that thinks the prechorus screaming part is the best thing I’ve ever heard?!
yes
Yeah it really hits the spot for some reason
I’m in love
Yeah I thought it was a sick idea! Haven’t heard another band use it like that so it makes Mike’s verse definitely way more interesting!
Idk, I thought it was cool. 🤷🏻♂️

I POSTED THIS ON REDDIT EARLIER! I can’t believe someone else caught that
You are right. The chorus even sounds in the same key. Could be wrong though. That song is very underrated.
Yes... and I love it. Added both to my playlist. I hope more people will discover Innerpartysystem because of this.

this song is such a banger i really dont care that they are going this direction if it sounds this damn good

Must've not listened to their older stuff then
7.5/10
Its a bit more basic but very well done
Gucci or goochie... Hmmm!
Either way, listen to the song a few more times and you'll be loving it. Grown on me like a mould
My best friend hates the direction TDWP is going but I dig it and I’m here for it!!
GOOCHIEEEEEEEEE

When I think of rock bands, I think of Sacrifice or Watchtower. You know....the album that just came out a year ago. What lmao?
The chord progression of the chorus is intoxicating 😮💨
Dont get the hate on this song. I think its a pretty good song. Really like the chorus
I love the song people just want the heavy all the time.
Glad they’re still putting out music. Also, Gucci.
TDWP going Octane Core is crazy.
7/10 for me. Not bad not great
I actually really quite like this one. Gucci
Nothing overly impressive but it sounds good
Gaaaatoooorrrror boots with a pimped out Gucci suit
I love it, personally. Even if the chorus is almost a copy/paste of Don't Stop by Innerpartysystem lol.
I am glad someone else noticed, I was like wtf I heard this chorus as a kid and went and looked up Innerpartysystem again.
Omg thank you. I’ve been thinking of this for dayssss

Yeah, they keep going softer but not Flooping like Bring Me The Trash o Architechtzzzzz

Once again 30-year-olds wanting other 30 year olds to still be making music like they're 19....let people grow sheesh.
They’re in their 40s
@@anonuser600 lol. Still 30s. Nice try tho.
The only thing more bland is a boiled plain hot dog
Nope
