I doubt he makes the NBA, and if he does, it’ll be as a very limited role player. He does move pretty well, but the NBA is a different animal. He would be completely reliant on playing drop coverage, so right off he limits the defensive scheme to suit him. It’s an awesome story, and he will most definitely be a pro (overseas/G League) for as long as he can stay healthy no doubt. Teams that want to play small ball or play any switching defense couldn’t use him at all. He would get roasted if he switched on to competent Guards/Wings, and on the other end it doesn’t seem like he has the strength or skill level to punish switches much because he lacks lower body power and any real semblance of a post game/touch near the hoop. I’d guess that he will get a look in the late 2nd where he can play in summer league and teams can see what he’s got. The rim protection and timing on his blocks are phenomenal. That at least is a glimmer of hope. His straight line speed for his size is also a plus for getting easy dunks in transition or quick duck ins before a defense sets. All this is to say he’s on the fringe of late 2nd-undrafted but should play in a summer league, and hopefully that summer league team can develop him and give him opportunities to showcase his unique skill set. The problem is there seems to be a sort of height limit in the modern NBA. Past 7’1-7’2 seems to be a cutoff for bigs. I’ll be rooting for him to buck the trends though and carve out some type of roll for surrendered
He'd be ideal backing up Timelord in Boston. Wish we had another late second round pick to use on him. He might actually be drafted end of first. I am really high on him as he has some elite skills and abilities.
@@DoubleDribble He has some pro tools already with his incredible length, speed and timing. He could be a rim running rim protector today if you ask me. He won't do a lot else but he can fill that role with ease.
Good content. Hope he has nice enough summer league with the Mavs that he gets a camp invite and a two way contract along with SL teammate Emanuel Miller.
He would be nice in Okc beside Chet. He should help there rebounding set picks for SGA and Giddy and role to the rim. Him and Chet would swat anything that goes to the rim.
He will be a great steal & one of the most entertaining players in the NBA future
Yes i think so too

Warriors need him

On Mavs summer league roster
Jamarion should meet Victor Wembanyama!
He's an inch taller than Victor!
That will be a match-up worthwatching.
I can't believe he may not be done growing!! That is crazy!
That is wild

I think he could be really good if you give him a couple more years to develop!

@@gullintanni He already is a rim protector at NBA level.
Just signed a 1-year non-guaranteed contract with the Mavs.
Why only one year? Give him a guaranteed contract after one year!

Very quick for his size
Very intriguing big man definitely keeping my eyes on what he is doing this season.

He is a nice prospect.
Check out Montrealer Olivier Rioux playing for Img in Florida .16 years old and over 7 feet 6 already.
Mavs just signed him last week.

Buddy might get drafter or picked up just for stopping Wemby…🤦🏾♂️👽
Reminds me of Lew Alcindor.
He's not the tallest player in college basketball Zach Edey is. He's also not 7'5 he is more like 7'2 or 7'3. Still insane.
He can move well for his height tho!
How do you know for sure? Met his dad here in Atl yesterday and his dad told me he’s 7’5”. Dad is 6’ 9”. Mom 6’3”.
@@NnamdiArt Well. If anybody would know its his dad! I stand corrected. Is he entering the draft?
@@kaikai9201 No, I don’t think so. He still probably got a couple of years before he’s ready.
@@NnamdiArt heard he might be landing in New Mexico, In need of a post player here under coach Pitino he will blossom n be NBA ready
He looks like a nice guy
