Farida tragically lost her arms but not her spirit

Farida, a remarkable young woman from Tanzania, is a Limb Lab Foundation patient with an incredible story. Tragically, when she was very young, she lost both of her arms in an incident with pigs. Despite this hardship, she has shown immense strength and resilience. In 2021, Farida received prosthetic devices from Limb Lab Minneapolis, which have significantly improved her life. Now, she has returned for updates to her devices as she prepares to start University next year with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. Her prosthetics are essential for her daily activities, including writing, typing, and eating, enabling her to thrive in her studies and daily life back home in Tanzania.
