So cute! Does the food coloring ever dye your hands when you wash? I've never colored my soap carvings before, but it's a super cute way to highlight the detail work!

hello I am always so pleased to see your beautiful creations I would like so much to worry about it is that at home in France I can not find any soap to carve and it's a shame so I look at you hihihi!
Any bar of soap that is fairly soft (doesn't chip off in powdery flakes when you cut a piece off) will work for this! An important thing is to not get it wet before you carve. Wet soap changes consistency and makes it bad for carving. I can't find soap quite like the soap she uses in American stores, but I've done soap carving a lot and have found a couple of bar soap brands in the store that have the right consistency. Dove brand is really good, and a quick Google tells me they sell those in France (could be wrong). They might not be the same shape or size, but as long as the bar is bigger than your template you can carve it down.
