It's undoubtedly the husband who needs to take stand for his new bride. Fortunately, i didn't have to encounter any such thing. My room was on a different floor than the rest of the house, so no relatives would specially come up for anything😁 secondly, after rituals we went to our room once and for all and no1 dared to call us downstairs after that😂 even my dinner was served in our room. Next day my sisters in law helped me clean and set up my cupboard. I was showered with extra food and even food of my choice in case i didn't like what was already made. All the arrangements were made to make me feel comfortable unlit i was settled to take charge of my routine. All this because we had a love marriage and my hubbu knew what i wanted. He instructed everything to be done in advance. But also m blessed with equally loving in laws😊

@@musicalmasterpalak true, like recently my frnd got married she's from Delhi but her in laws are from meerut . It was love marriage. She thought after marriage she would hardly stay in meerut since her office would open for physical job but it has been delayed. It's been 3 months she's doing wfh from there and counting her days because she can't live there, there's no facility, no social circle of her . She feels weird there on the other hand, her husband meets his frnds there and habitual to that place while my frnd is literally stuck there

this video made me realize how lucky I am because I don't relate to any part of this video. My in-laws were so caring and respectful. i have been married 5 years and nobody has ever used my bathroom or toiletries. Same with gift opening, it was just me and my husband doing alone. no cooking for weeks after marriage until I wanted to make some hot choco for myself. Allahamdulilah so lucky in this department.

Me too. I am from Odisha. I cant stop my tears since last two days and stopped watching news. But i laughed through my tears when she said “Kab jaoge yahan se, ho gaya satya narayan!” 😂 reminded me of my first day at in laws place.
Every feeling and thoughts are very well covered. Also as mentioned about drinking water... I experienced the same, thirsty but dare not ask them for water. It's overwhelming on the first few days in sasural. Husbands won't understand!

Till women keep tolerating and giving more and more, men will demand more & more , the more you give, the more they will demand.... Let's say if today in india women actually cared about themselves and left the in laws or divorced, men would have been scared to behave wrongly with women coz they will lose their marriage...but since women keep their mouth shut , men don't have anything to fear, they just keep on demanding more ....this problem will not be solved by writing comments on TH-cam, the women who faces this should take steps against it....
