I'm 41, and clubbing alone, F.K passed away (rip) and I didn't seen him in live. Now when a Master/Monster/Legend plays in Paris I buy a ticket and enjoy me, myself and I (and with the crowd sometimes, when the alchemy is in the air)
I’ve never been to see them either. They’ve been in my city separately a few times in last few years but keep missing them. I’m 42 and been following them since kenny did that bucketheads album. Seen Todd Terry about 5 times but seem to always miss these guys 🤷♂️

THIS my friends is what REAL DJ's can and should be able to do without the help of any apps or programs guiding them or doing the work for them !!! I've been a HUGE fan of these two since the early 90's and they haven't lost a beat !!! The title Masters At Work is well earned and deserved !!!

@Leonard Johnson Larry levan and the grandfather of em all David Mancuso. Timmy Reggisford sadly is far underrated and unmentioned. He's an incredible DJ and better than 1000 of these youtube wannabes
The young DJ don’t understand , you don’t just play the music , you feel it. You know it. It goes to your soul if you have a good “Master” DJ.

Facts brother, Kills me that all they are doing is staring at the DJ... they do that outside of the US, and i've even seen it some other states... my theory is that they come from the concert mentality (sway and nod while staring) and not the get down and get sweaty mentality (who cares where the dj is just BEAT that SHIT)... where my baby powder at!!!??

Another classic set by MAW - I hate to say it, but they need to spin this shit in front of some Brothers and Sisters from the old skool...the people are trying their best to groove to it and I get the cultural divide - but I remember being clubs where sets like this have went down and the place went wild! Put this in front of the people that I partied with an the floor will burn with energy...the march is on...Larry would hold "mini-Church" in the Garage early Sunday morning. He would slow it down, even stopping the music...say a prayer about being able to see another Sunday and blast tracks like this - it was unreal!

I don't get it. Maybe it's a cultural thing but the dancers and the crowd aren't really DANCING. I'd be losing my frigging mind if I was there. Kicking, twirling, stomping, praising! The moment I heard the first beats drop before... It's Alright, I FEEL IT! It would have been all over. Somebody call a Dr. 'cause this 53 year old man is about to hurt himself! HAHA Then again, I can't tell you how to feel the music. The music has to lead you. And honestly, what I love about house is that you can do you. However that looks and feels for any individual is perfect in that moment and it doesn't matter what others think. Just dance! Dance! DANCE!!!
