If u look at the data plate of the coach u will find what it is with scania there is a letter followed by numbers example: k440 Thw number is the power so 440 brake all scanias are like that The data plate will be near the front door of any bus it coach
Hey mate one quick question for you, how there is no winning noise in your bus? Globally all the scania buses I've seen used to make this kinda some extra sound other than the engine sound, but this one is absolutely quiet, even scaina's new touring model does this. Could this be something to do with the irizar build?
Quite possibly, sir, 5 cylinder engine, coach comfort & insulation is probably why it is so quiet. Couldn't comment on what gearbox it had, probably a Scania on. Whatever it was, it was smooth and nice to drive.
Awesome vlogger need create coach driver channel Pg friendly and you 1000% get coach driver reaction like trucker Tim though watch few j Wang vlogs uses background music and visits food reviews break stations other drivers interviews generally industry information and guidance You're character personality is watchable and humorous in fantastic way UK bus/coach industry needs someone like yourself to encourage new drivers come into industry All best I'll be following
Thanks man, your kind words are appreciated. I say what I see and try to make it relatable, no jump cuts, trashy thumbnails cringe editing. I do exceptionally well to reign in my language as anyone who knows me understands my restraint maintained for video purposes. I am bus driver the majority of the time so there wouldn't be much to show other than the route in real-time/time lapse form. Thanks again for following and reaching out man. 👋
having ridden on the i6s and many similar coachs, ive never liked the i6s at all, although ive only experienced these on a mercedes chassis. much more of a fan to marcopolo produced audace 1050 series especially on the volvo chassis, sadly they are not well suited to the UK roads, do much better here in australia with our faster paced roads. im sure those convex mirrors up the top come in handy in narrow gaps, and the arm mirrors do better getting through compared to ones resting just off the A pillars from my experience as a passenger. if you're willing to share how do you find being on the buses compared to the garbage trucks when it comes to home life? love the videos, look forward to the next one
What is your opposition to the i6s? My understanding is that it is a intermediate coach for commercial & tourism work. I had no issues with but I was driving, not enjoying the passenger experience. I was really fond of the Scania the few days I drove it. Other drivers at our yard are insistent that the Mercedes Tourismo are much better. Scania gearbox was much more responsive and smoother shifting I felt. Whereas the Mercedes had a prettier interface and ergonomics. I only do local work so the home live truck vs bus angle is similar. Of the 2 I prefer bus/coach work. I like routine, pattern & familiarity. Coach > service bus no hesitation. Much comfier, no cash taking, day out and more engaging. Thanks for watching 👋 🇦🇺
@@wheelerd02 scanias are pretty comfortable, however my only i6 experience was on a rural application and i believe the driver never used the retarders so braking was rough at times, however the nature of driving in higher speed limits may contribute, although professional drivers should be able to adjust especially if they know the roads. personally prefer veichles that use a combination of reterdation and air braking during standard braking, however that's hard to come by in my area. if i ever pick up driving work the home nightly part is a must for me, living in a cab isnt my thing. being on the coaches earn a extra degree of respect in my area, public drivers are considered pretty low in life in comparison.
@@yeahno8969 I eagerly use the retarders where possible to reduce service brake year and jolting. I find it a much smoother deceleration and better take of drive when back on the throttle. I've done nighting out in lorries, certainly not my thing either. I value home life, comforts & hot dinners. Bus drivers are sneered upon in the UK also. Not sure if coaches are held in a higher regard but there certainly is a difference in clientele.
Never fitted them before my guy. Toyota Crown has 16" Yokohama Blu Response currently. Aqua planes like heck and has poor cold grip so they are getting binned. PS4 (according to manufacturer, so it will be biased) will have good wet & dry grip whilst offering a decent lifespan. I am fitting these to a 1600kg Japanese turbo rwd estate. I was looking Cross Climate 2 tyres but the vehicle will be off road in winter so didn't see the need for 4 season usability. I will be happy with 15k+ miles. However given the purpose of the car for me they won't see that mileage. Bought as an investment, so it shall see limited use prior to appreciating and subsequent sale.

The data plate will be near the front door of any bus it coach
It will also tell you who built it, length, height, weight everything about the bus or coach 12:16
