Would love to connect with you. I've used a WRX powertrain (swap). I'm using a module to spoof a bunch of CAN messages for the missing systems (SRS, ABS, etc). I would like to identify what is causing the "BRAKE" icon to show in the dash. I'm pretty sure it's related to the vacuum pump delete but hoping I can spoof that signal back in the network. I've also had a problem trying to send a new map to my ECU using m AccessPort. It connect fine and I can export the current map but when I try to send an OTS map, it just fails. Not wanting to be a leach, your videos are inspiring and I would be grateful if we could connect. Not sure how to share my contact info here...

      Hey,
Chances are what you are doing is going to be beyond what I've learned so far. There are a couple regular CEL codes related to things like brake booster sensor or even the brake switch, but I don't know if they would throw a brake light fault, I am pretty sure that light is controlled by the VDC bus which I haven't tapped in to currently.
The cobb errors could be a couple things, like the ECU or AP was maybe already paired with something else? Or the map you are flashing might not be compatible with the ECU ID you are using, but I've never gotten an error like that before.
You can hit me up at teewrexyt@gmail.com but sadly with those problems I don't know if I will be able to help.

I was looking for the sketch that you said you attached, but do not find it.

Hey, oops lol. You can get the sketch to send canbus stuff to canhacker from here:
