It is her natural grace, with whom she was born, that enables her to tell a full story with each one of her elegant movements. And that cannot be taught at any academy.
Yet another role which Maya pretty much reigned supreme during her active career. As usual, her superb musicality, acting, elegance, and ability to laser focus on a role and remove any fussiness or rushing phrases puts her far over other performers, even those who are technically superior.
When I first found all the ballet on youtube I cried. I cried for the cold war and the fact I had seen none of this till I was 50. The I dried my eyes and watched and watched. YEah!
