Cold Blue - Find A Place:
The second release on my first ever own record label and it's been such an exciting journey, mostly because of the amazing reactions and support that I've received from you here over the last months. I can't thank you enough for that!
Not only have I now found a consistent home for all of the music that I'll want to share with you over the next years (or decades?).
I also feel that I recently have found a more grounded and purposeful place in my life, moving out of town into a more silent area, more connected to nature and more involved in community projects with great local people.
From here I can draw inspiration, strength and confidence as a human being and especially as an artist.
On the one hand apparently this led to a considerable decrease of the touring that I used to do before.
But on the other hand it brought an incredible push of creativity and productivity into my life, which I might have experienced in smaller versions in the past but never in this dimension as I feel it right now. (And perhaps the new music reflects that to some degree?)
So... I believe that in Find A Place I unconsciously wanted to tell the story of a successfull quest of such a home, expressing the uncertainty and the doubts that I felt during the journey and expressing the feelings of joy and euphoria during the moments when I realise how perfect and and close to paradise life can feel.
