Well one version of Vibe was killed by a street gang or a groups of thugs severely brutalizing him while he was having a personal crisis during a Crisis-like event called "Legends" during the 80's, if I remember correctly. It was something about him "being hated by readers for being both full of himself and a stereotype".
I wonder if they'll cover Vibe's power to temporarily render Flash powerless in the next episode (11th episode) of Flash, since their bringing in a Vibe-like character who is more experienced with her powers than Cisco is. It would certainly explain why Cisco is challenging her to the fight to the death and not Barry.
It's just amazing how X-23 started as a minor character in X-man evolution and like that has evolved to be freaken wolverine and now gets to be in a movie. Just damn. It's like Harley Quin only even better.

It just boggles my mind how Vibe, who was considered a joke hero for so long, is now considered one of the more powerful DC heroes. It's been straighted in Geoff Jones' _JLA_ comic that he is #1 choice to fight a speedster.
I don't agree with ya on one thing Arris. I hope that they don't actually kill off Wolverine at the end of the film. They keep saying it's the last wolverine movie, but there could still be plenty of cameos and supporting roles for him in future Fox films, like Deadpool 2. An agreement they could come up with is that he won't have to take off his shirt, or clothes in the film. That means that he wouldn't have to train as hard or for as long to be ready for the film. I hope that they keep using him for many more years. It is crazy that he is the Iron Man of Fox essentially, but doesn't get paid near as much as MCU big time actors. Disney/MARVEL spends so much money.
