I have a question that I hope you can help with please. At night when I open the car and then the door none of the interior lights by sunroof buttons turn on. How do I sort this please so they come on automatically?

Hi. I’ve just picked up my new Tiguan r line tech and I’ve fallen in love. It’s obviously early days for me but I live in Cornwall so the main beam is on and off very regularly. The problem for me is that the auto magic main beam dip doesn’t seem to work. It worked brilliantly in the Audi Q3 that I’m getting rid of (should have stuck with VW instead of buying an Audi), but I’m constantly blinding other drivers at the moment. I’ve only had the car for 2 days but if you can help me sort this problem out, I would be eternally grateful. Cheers.
Dave Crich It tends to work better when the car is in ‘normal’ mode as opposed to ‘eco’ mode, give that a go
Can you show us changing headlight beam for driving abroad, I think I saw it on the lighting menu saying left hand traffic so maybe option to change to right hand traffic
sally sal It’s difficult for my camera to pick it up and show any significant difference but you’ll just have to take my word for it. Thanks for the support

When you use the boot release once to find the car in a dark car park, do the wing mirror indicators flash too??

You do know w that the boot opens when you click the button right. It opens the boot but not the doors

@@kaieshabish22 if you press ones you can go to the tailget push the button on the tailgate and it will open. Then if you hold the button down for some seconds the boot will open withr powerd tailgate
If i dont have the icon on the mirror in the settings does it mean i dont have the pan roof light on my tiguan R line.thanks.snr.
Is there a secret code where you can unlock more interior LED colors?

What is the ride comfort on the R-line ? my current car has low profile tires and large alloys and the ride is horrible... you feel everything on the road.
Can’t complain to be honest, big wheels and skinny-ish tyres but seems to have been well engineered to provide a decent ride
Picked mine up brand 68 plate in December! However I do not have the lights on my sunroof? Can anyone explain please
Reza Shahbazi They are more than likely there but VW have deactivated them because of an electrical fault whereby the lights could possibly short and potentially catch fire owing to moisture in the electrical system. Not sure they can be reactivated I’m afraid
Just checked online and you're correct! It's a shame because I was looking forward to that as it makes a massive improvement! I think I'll rather take the risk and activate it if it's possible :)
Are the LED strips on the door only for European or USA models as well?
Hi there @ 2.23 under the light assistance, there is a switch on time. Your says LATE, what does this setting change, please can you let me know? Thank you in advance.

Hugh Maynard It’s for the auto headlights, so they switch on later when it’s more dark outside
Can you get the tailgate powered at a later date from VW

Martin Short They’ve disconnected them because of a moisture issue was causing them to short out

Do I get the 190PS SEL AWD or 150 R-Line 2wd ? stuck right now
MoretonHD Tough choice. I love the look of the R-line, it does look more special inside and out but the extra power would be welcome from the 190hp engine. The 4wd was great in the snow, but it’s the first 4wd I’ve every owned and I’ve never really got stuck with front wheel drive. My choice.....the SEL. The ride will be better, the more powerful engine will suit the car better and the 4wd is always welcome (plus you get hill decent control)
How do you get your radio channels with logo’s?
mark ceats Get an SD card. Go to www.ukdigitalradio.com/stations/ on a PC. Hover over the station logo, right click and save as Jpeg to the SD card. Put the SD card in the spare socket in the glovebox. On radio screen in the car select options, advanced, station logos, find the station saved in your presets and then assign the logo from the SD card.
@@kaieshabish22 do u have to manually pick the logo for every radio station ? Is there not a way to upload all the station logos to the correct stations? Thanks

So annoying they stopped doing the leds along the sunroof on the newer model Tiguan! 😥
When I put my 2019 Tiguan in the VW shop here in Atlanta the VW Consultant told me they are testing the LED lighting as a accessory for Tiguans with the Panoramic sunroof in the southeast. My Tiguan has the LED lights install but they're disable, next time I take it back I'm going to get them to activate them. Hopefully this option will go out to all VW dealerships.
