  • In 1982 a group of gay fathers founded what would eventually become the Family Equality Council. Now, 30 years later, we have grown into the nation's leading advocate for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parents and their children.

Should never had had children if you knew you were gay - that is deceit with your wife.. seriously.

+Blobby Blob There are many decisions that influenced a gay man (or woman's) decision to marry the opposite sex. Ultimately, yes it is deceitful.
But in those days (and to some extent even now), there were so many limitations to a gay person's rights that they felt the only way they could survive in this world was to marry someone of the opposite sex. A gay person can still form a bond with someone of the opposite sex, so I'm sure in most cases these people did not see their marriage as 'false'. Rather, it was lacking fulfilment. They probably thought they could survive in a 'straight' relationship, especially due to all of the pressures of the world forcing them into one, but it turned out that they couldn't.

+Katie (DoofusKat) whatever, still no concern for the children... children come first regardless... its that simple

Blobby Blob and the child did come first in her case. She raised her with love, the daughter said so herself. Whereas the dad disowned her. I'm failing to see how you're siding with the absent father here. People divorce all the time for whatever reason, and every parent has a choice about how much involvement to have in the child's upbringing.
