My grandpa serve in philippine air force. He's a gunner and mechanics of huey helicopter and he tell some story about jet passing their helicopter and some crazy stuff. He tell me that he really miss the days that us air force and navy deployed in clark and subic.
Awesome! my grandfather was in the air force too back in the 60s to late 80's! Maj. Gen. Jose De leon jr is his name, sadly no longer here but was told many stories, as wing commander for the 5th fighter wing, he walked around clark seeing all the new USAF plane's of those days such as the F-15A and F-16A/B. I originally created this video when I was the Audiovisual Superintendent for Cope Thunder from 80 to 83. The music has been changed (it originally was a Star Wars tune} and a whole bunch of F-15 video has been added. This was a labor of love long, long time ago.

@@CobraOneTwelve I actually retired from the Air Force over 30 years ago so I wouldn't have a clue where the original footage would be. Sorry! I did have lots of fun for the 3 years I was there.

I remember the happy times when the US Bases are still here. Angeles and Olongapo are very happy places with beautiful and exotic women. We even buy wooden scale models of military aircraft in those cities

mfw Cope Thunder exercises might return back this year but PAF has no MRF assets for almost 20 years
