Love those dresses. The black dress looks perfect with your sneakers or walking shoes. The blue and white dress is elegant, stylish and so, so just right. Keep on sewing, I enjoy your "shows".
Wow, your makes are really, really pretty! I like your attention to detail for making garments look and fit their best on you... what I vision as being much needed inspiration for all sewing levels. That's what draws me towards your channel more and more, thanks so much.
Hey Donna! Yes I got both of those patterns! I made the one w/ the split in a gray knit. I remember you did it in black All you garments are wonderfully made & the fabric selection are stunning!
Hi Mrs. Donna; I love all of your makes but the white and blue Know Me is my favorite! I wish I could make my clothes to fit me like yours do. I'm trying very hard to conquer this issue. I love how you style your outfits. I also love your black and white dress. I looked at that pattern but passed it up but I think I'll buy it now that I see how you styled it. Love, love, love your makes and your sense of styling! You are truly and inspiration to me for my sewing life! 😊❤
Thank you so much! Have you made the tunic (blue & white)? It is not hard & there shouldn't be any fit issues. Find your style & make several of the same pieces using different fabrics, lengths & other 'hacks'. Then try another pattern & do the same thing. I can't really explain it, but it will help you in learning to get the fit right. We all learn (later than sooner) what styles work or don't work🥰
Absolutely LOVE the dress!!! I was planning to make it out of a double gauze print from MOOD but I was short 1/2 yard 😭 But I do have some really nice cotton lawn/voile that I purchased from Elliott Berman Textiles last year (on their 50% online sale!) And speaking of Elliott Berman Textiles...I immediately recognized that beautiful Black/White/Cobalt windowpane knit. That style on you is FABULOUS!!! I ALMOST bought that fabric recently but held back and did not 😥Seeing it used so skillfully and perfectly is very satisfying 🤩 Beautiful garments on you Donna! Thanks for sharing and inspiring 😊
Thank you so much! Yes, the dress is a nice style. You probably will like it and it's not too time-consuming. I will probably make it again 🫠. The tunic is one of my favorites. I've never shopped at Elliott Berman Textiles. I purchased it from Fabric Hut. However, I will definitely check them out!
Beautiful makes Donna1 I especially love the KnowME 2076. It's on my list to make soon. I know you mentioned it is a cotto fabric, but what kind of cotton fabric did you use? I'm have trouble deciding what weight to use. Seems like a quilting cotton would be too heavy, and a lawn too light.
It was a cotton from Hobby Lobby. The next time I'm in there (soon), I will look at it. You are right. A quilting cotton is too heavy. A light weight is needed so the gathers fall nicely. A cotton lawn may be okay. Watch for my post next week 😊. Thank you for watching
Donna, both dresses are absolutely lovely. May I ask, where did you purchase the knit fabric with the different color blues in it? That fabric is gorgeous.
Hi! Thank you so much. I purchased the knit fabric from Fabric Hut. You can call or go online. Fabrichut.com. The weight of it is just as fabulous as the print🫠

Thank you! I "never" wear sneakers. I am a heel girl. But lately...oh yes. The sneakers have been so comfortable!

Such kind words. Enough to motivate me!! Thank you so much for watching 😊
Love those pants. All of it, really, but I really love those pants! Thanks!
Yes, a nice classic wide leg🫠. Thank you for watching

Hi! Thank you. I saw the one you made. I love this lighter color. The sleeve detail shows up
Yes I agree with you! It’s lovely for this time of year!

All nice makes but that blue and white? Really beautiful.

I love all your outfits… Do you sew every day?
Sometimes 🤦🏾♀️. When I do, I will then take a break for 3 or 4 days. Thank you for watching
I should also note that I don't sew on Saturdays 🫠
