I wasn't feeling the best this morning as I was doing the walk of shame to my truck after an unintentional Hog ride after the Bar Bar last night. As I was staring at my reflection and contemplating the different ways to go, I got a notification you had a new video up. I pushed the bad thoughts aside as I saw you get giddy over fruity milk and coffee. Although, I thought of last night when you were stirring those big glasses with that little Brazilian spoon, you pulled me out with the endless guava joy. Loved the video, you saved me, you are doing gods work. 🤣
What I really like, is your funny approach on the rations. That's one thing that makes you different from the other reviewers. What I'm trying to do every day, is to have at least one good laugh, it really keeps me sane in this fucked up world. So thanks for helping me with that. 😊
This is different friend. I love different. Brazilian, I have never lucked into, and only saw A few reviewed. Many items I am not familiar with. I am used to fuel tabs. Never tried alcohol gel in ration. Works nicely it would seem, sort of, LOL. Components look solid and sound good. Awesome job at mixing and matching components. Gundog would be proud, if you know the inside joke. If not, I will explain. A messy meal, is A good meal, I always say. Agreed, everyone else's rations look better than our own, LOL. One hell of A community we belong to. Trade and switch between ourselves. Works out nicely. Good people here. Be honest on reviews, always. People know if you are faking. If I like on review, I say so. If I dislike, I am honest as well. All should do the same. All meals seem good, from my side of your camera. I understand all comments and criticisms. I had the strokin-off in the one I did and didn't have the same experience. I put the cassava flour in it so maybe that helped? The dinner/supper menu in mine was different and was really good! Thanks for the review! Glad you finally got one without customs a-holes getting it!!!
I think if i ever found myself in a desert island situation i would defo have a pocket with salt and pepper in it. well at least the pepper i mean i could at least make salt if i had to but yeah they are so important and im so surprised they don't supply it ... i guess its just one more thing to lose or forget or litter with i dunno. rice is a hard one to get right though. especially keeping it precooked for another time. The first one may have been the end of the batch where all the starch would've landed. Then the extra cooking in the retort pouch would've made the whole thing ... gluggy. i dunno you are alot braver than I sir and i salute you xox
at the price it is sold on ebay, I am ready to buy it once, I am sure that its price is 10 times cheaper in Brazil. The food tastes not fresh, the drinks are interesting. This is a very rare mre, I am ready to pay 1-2 times the money, and no more. Great review!
I wish you the best of luck finding it cheaper! I sure wish I could have. I ordered 3 and only got one intact, because Customs! It certainly is worth trying once! I love rations and want to try all of them at least one time! Thank you for watching and commenting!

I noticed the L they took on the lime drink, the spoon and the first lot of rice, but honestly I just put that down to "government" it seemed pretty solid for a ration from a less developed nation, but the total absence of salt/pepper/flavour bottle(hot sauce) is imho a pretty major sin!
I really dont think any of your viewers would be mad if you added stuff after you tried it to make the experience more enjoyable. I appreciate your staying true the task but man we will get over it.

@RationNerd I'm a big fan of your reviews, great stuff keep it up. Hey, I could be wrong here but don't you gotta break up the rice in the pouch by hand before you put it in the ration heater? You have mentioned in other videos that the rice comes out in a block/is gelatinous and I mean you could very well be doing that already, but you're not showing it so maybe that's it. Usually rice like that comes in a chunk and has to be broken up in the pouch before cooking
Thank you for watching! Some rice in retort pouches can be broken up in the pouch. I did massage this bag before and after heating, but it still came out in one big rice blob. This was like no other rice I have had so far! It would not break up, you just had to cut it with a fork. Thank you for the comment! I appreciate the support and the feedback!

Some rice in retort pouches can be broken up in the pouch. I did massage this bag before and after heating, but it still came out in one big rice blob. This was like no other rice I have had so far! It would not break up, you just had to cut it with a fork.
