    I just discovered your channel, really enjoyed the review. I had not been looking at Aurender at all, I was looking at Eversolo A8 & Hi Fi Rose. What I also appreciated is learning about new music to me that you recommend at the end, Thanks!

    You have a good sense of humor - :) Thanks for the review. I wish it had HDMI out as transport.

    Thanks for providing this in depth review. I'm torn between getting this or getting a new old stock A10 with the balanced connections and the 4TB HDD already installed. I think I can be perfectly happy with the A200 routed through my McIntosh MA-252 to my ATC SCM 19 v2 speakers.

      If you want to know my opinion, then I would proceed from how important it is to maintain balanced connections. If this is not critical for you, then the A200 will definitely be a more reasonable choice. It works noticeably faster (I mean the response of the interface) than A10, and inside it is not so simple as to unequivocally be considered a lower level device if we compared them with an unbalanced connection.

    Thank you for the great review. I would like to ask you if this dac surpasses the Accuphase dac of the DP410 cd player. Namely, I am in doubt about an Aurender streamer with or without dac. Hopefully you can give me clarity.

    Great review. Did you look at the N200 with out the DAC? Surprisingly tboth the A200 and N200 are both 6k USD.

    Thanks for the review. Subbed. Would love to hear your thoughts of this vs the hifi rose RS250.

      I listened to the rs150 once and it was quite good in terms of display, connections and usability. I'm absolutely in love with the size of its display, but I can't say how good it sounds. I didn’t have enough time, but my interest doesn’t fade, so I will definitely do a detailed review if there is such an opportunity

      I would Aurender to be superior in both performance, sound- and build quality. Aurender have developed servers for longer than most others on the market where today’s designs are very mature and refined.

      @@ampli-fi I have owned a Rose 150 for 5 months. If you're the kind of guy that loves constantly screwing with a cell phone trying to figure out things like why it suddenly started sending some calls to voice mail out of the blue, why it doesn't tell you the date and time those messages were left, or you think the process to upload CD's you had ripped to your laptop should be difficult, or the process to just play all the songs on an album should be extremely complicated, you'll love the 150. Me, not so much. So I'm now checking out Aurender models.

    I can't find any information about the quality of using the A200 just as a transport with the USB audio out, versus the N200. If they are both the same price, then why not get the A200 and have a backup DAC.....that assumes of course that the USB output is of the exact same quality as the N200.

    • @iamhear
      @iamhear 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Steve, I'm using now A200 as a transport with Metronome Le Dac 2. I can say that A200 as a transport is similar to N150 in terms of quality. N200 is definitely better.

    Thanks for this review. I’m looking at the n series as I already have a fancy dac.
    Innuos pulse seems like to best bang for the money. But it’s impossible to a/b them

    • @perfectsense8290

      You should look at the Aurender N150 or 200 or the new Innuos Pulse series.

    New subscriber. Have a Rose 150 I find unsatisfying. You cannot use the 150's USB ports to connect it to a laptop to copy music files from the laptop to the 150. Do Aurenders have the same limitation? And can you edit the music files on Aurenders from your PC?

    • @ampli-fi
      @ampli-fi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can access Aurender's HDDs from PC without a problem, but you can't connect your laptop by wire directly to Aurender (it's not necessary)

    • @LS-ti6jo
      @LS-ti6jo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ampli-fiThx, but I don't understand. If a laptop cannot be connected "by wire" to an Aurender, how is it connected?

    Hi Eugene - thanks for this review. I have not been able to find out how the A200 handles Genres. What happens when I click on the Genre button? Do I see all my Genres, say, "ROCK: Blues-Rock"? And then am I able to click on "ROCK: Blues-Rock" and see all the albums? Thanks!

    • @ampli-fi
      @ampli-fi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Harish. Unfortunately not :( When you tap on Genre you will see only 20 main genres only. When you tap on Rock you will see endless list of groups. 🤷‍♂️

    • @rydal88
      @rydal88 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ampli-fi Thanks Eugene - when you see the 20 main genres, is there a "More" button to see the next 20, etc? Or is that it? Also, can I search for a Genre? Also, apparently you can set up your Genres in folders - I am wondering whether that is worth the work.

    • @ampli-fi
      @ampli-fi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If we talk about your file library, then the application can sort by artist, genre, composer, conductor and by folder. It depends on what your files have in meta tags. You will be able to see everything in the application, but you will not have a hierarchy like Rock -> Blues-Rock. Everything will be on the same plane.

      @@philipgardiner2003 For that price it should have XLR. I have a Auralic Altair G2.1 which goes for this amount with XLR. I guess that's my main gripe.

      @@philipgardiner2003 Glad to help, congrats. One note on the Vega it is similar to Altair but with no Wifi or Music Server built in like Altair, but may sound better. They have the G2.2 released as well.

      @BrianGarside ปีที่แล้ว

      @@philipgardiner2003 One last comment. I'm confident you will love the Vega like I do with my Altair. They continually upgrade the firmware, the units are built to last. Also since it has a real analog preamp with volume no need to buy a separate pre-amp.

    So between an Aurender X100l, an old class transport, and a new lower class offering like the HiFi Rose RS201E, which would you pick?
