Advanced How to Climb in Gang Beasts Tutorial | Tips & Tricks | Gang Beasts

- In this video, I try to show 2-4 different methods of how to climb in Gang Beasts in a more advanced or detailed way than some other tutorials which are shorter. This includes the Vault Jump or Vault Climb, which is similar to the regularly done, random Spam Vault/Jump Climb. I also show the Krodon Flip method, and a combination of the Spam Vault Climb and Krodon Flip for the Subway map.
These tips should hopefully help you guys climb better. Climbing can be used for getting away from opponents, moving around the map, getting to people, and importantly, you should know how to climb out of the Subway map train tracks.
DISCLAIMER These methods are not always reliable, and do not work all of the time. I have not used these methods in matches yet, as I was practicing climbing and learned these new techniques for this video.
Please try these out and comment to let us know which methods work best, or if you would like to share your own tips.
Thank you for watching. - เกม
4:00 rip hat 🤣
😆 LOL 🤣🤣
I don't think I noticed that before you mentioned it. Some say the hat is still being pushed to this day.
I came here to advance my climbing and have just noticed from hours of playing I learnt these methods anyway but cool video I use the flip method a lot
I see, nice. I named this an advanced tutorial as I tried to go through the steps of climbing for a more in depth tutorial than some of the other climbing tutorials.
Thanks.
Thank you, you really helped me so much!
No problem. Thank you for watching the video and giving your support!
This helped me sooo much i finally know how to flip and it helps me to escape alot ty so much im subbing
Glad I could help! Thanks for the support.
This is actually really useful
Thanks, glad it was helpful.
Thanks this helped me so much
No problem!
flip is usually the most reliable method, my friend uses the double X tap a lot and most of the times I see him climbing back up doing that I just headbutt him while he's jumping and it's an insta-knockout that makes him go flying, usually kills
Good to know, thanks.
I guess it will also be a bit less common and predictable than the usual double tap method.
Dang really!
Nice vid man, also, glad to see ur responding to people’s questions and comments. Ur getting a sub from me. 👍

I’m trying to teach my dad how to play gang beasts XD
Nice, hope you both enjoy the game. Playing with friends and family can be really fun.
@@Krodon For sure. I didn't think he would even like it but he's pretty good after just a day. We play online and stuff.

Bruh that front flip strat is smooth as butter
Good to hear, thanks.
This helps thanks!
No problem! Glad it helped.
Thanks it's very simple
No problem, I'm glad I could help.
Omgosh if you thought this helped. Ok try this on for size. Hold a HAT any type and then hold B/Circle in mid air to glide. This makes it 10x easier to reach the bottom area of the blimp map (the pink cockpit area) which then let’s you stand on the bottom wing.( I recommend holding the ceiling for better control it helps you not fall to your death) WHEN you reach the wing
Or you could just jump down
Nice video mate love ur work.
Thanks, Hero. I appreciate your supportive message, bro.
W vid w youtuber
Thank you very much, Andre!
Amazing video
Thank you very much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it, thanks for the support.
One thing i noticed with the flip method is that you have to be ever so slightly to the side for it to actually lift you up
It does look like that's the case, good eye!
This actually helped me thank you
Glad to hear that, no problem and thanks for writing.

I need help on how I should hold the controler to male it possible and comfortable to do the 2nd way
I think you can try to do it holding the controller with both hands like usual, with your pointer fingers on L1 and R1, and your left thumb on the left stick. You can use your right thumb to press both the x and circle buttons at the same time.
If that doesn't work, you can try to have your right hand's middle finger on R1, and use your right pointer finger for circle and your right thumb for the x button.
Good luck.
I have this on pc and finally did it.
Nice job, Blocky.
*the other arm
Hello. I think how you can make your other arm reach higher up is by making sure to hold down the jump button. While grabbing something and holding the jump button, your character will try to reach higher with their free arm.
The opposite of this is true when holding the circle button on PS4, where your character would reach lower. Not sure what circle is on PC, but maybe whatever button is used for headbutts/frontflips.
Anyways, I'd suggest holding ths jump while climbing so your other arm reaches higher up. Let me know if this works please.
Thanks
No problem.
For a knockout press x o hold o instant ko
Dude thanksssssssss
No problem, hope your climbing goes well.
@@Krodon it did
Now i dont need die all the time when someone throws me off
Nice, knowing how to climb out of the train tracks or onto the roof from the sides can be useful.
@@Krodon yeah
i find that when climbing up walls, my dude’s arms just glitch out and move weirdly. They just entirely drop and it’s like they’re fatigued. Any tips?
Different walls have different speeds at which they will make your character tire out and lose grip, so it could be you are trying to climb a difficult/quick wall or are climbing for too long and eventually falling (can't hold on).
Sorry, without seeing a video of what you're talking about, I'm not 100% sure.
I play on playstation and I usually get over ledges I can't normally get on by using 'circle' to flip my character over
Nice, the flip method can be very helpful!
@@Krodon yeah
Ooooooohhh ok thx.
No problem, I hope it helps.
I find the volt method more reliable but the flip method looks 10 times cooler
Yeah, the flip is more of a stylish way to get up lol
When I try to climb it vibrates and makes me fall why?
I think they adding climbing stamina, an invisible energy bar, which limits you from climbing too much. I believe certain walls are less climbable than others, they make your stamina drain faster. I guess they added it to stop people from hiding the whole match, but it can be annoying to randomly fall. Try different walls/maps, or to climb faster. Good luck.
Krodon: where climbing is most important, it might be the *subway*
Subway: speak of the devil and he shall *appear* 3:38
Haha, that was nice timing to help support my point.
can u tell how to flip over at pc

So hopefully you can just refer to the video but use the equivalent PC controls. Good luck!
I don’t know why but my left arm can’t grab for more then like 2 seconds it can punch but not grab any tips, it’s also not the controller it lb works in other games
I'm not sure, sorry. With some of the newer updates, grabbing got harder, I think sometimes my character would randomly let go for no reason.
Maybe someone else can help, sorry. Do you have another controller? I know you said it works in other games, but maybe Gang Beasts is sensitive, so if you test it out with another controller, does the same thing happen? But you are probably right, it's likely not the controller.
you have a limited time to grab when your feet are off the ground
Is there any way you could do these on xbox somehow

I try this but after around 3-5 sec my character just lets go?
Yeah, just tried to climb in the grinder map, not sure if it was the wall, but couldn't climb.
It didn't even vibrate before letting go to show you were tired or something, just let go randomly..
Maybe they messed up climbing in an update?
@@Krodon I figured out that some walls (grinder, chutes for example) you can't climb anymore. Most walls still work.
Ok, that's good. They should make non-climbable walls a different colour, shiny or something. Thanks for letting me know.
@@Krodon If this isn't a bug, yes. Right now it seems like all walls that you can't climb are grey. Some grey walls you can still climb tho.
I think there have been some walls that you couldn't climb for a while. I don't remember which ones though.
How did you throw that hat like that
You can't throw the hat like that anymore unfortunately. In an older version, you would just grab it, hold the lift button (Triangle on PS) then let go of the grab while moving and it flies away.
The second method of climbing up should be called the tomb raider method
That could be a cool name.
So you just use these methods on the PS5 as well?
Yup, they should still work there.
Yes I can clim
Nice, I'm glad it helped.
How do you throw things?
Hold with holding down L1 and R1 (for PS4), hold Triangle to lift them up and then move towards where you want to throw them, but be careful not to fall off yourself, then let go of L1+R1. You can also let go of Triangle.
Hold it then swing around and then let go
*PLS TELL ME WHICH VERSION IS THAT*
I *do not know.* 1.0.5 was the train update maybe, according to my searches. So maybe version 1.0.4?
Maybe even more than one version if I used clips from different times.
@@Krodon Okay thank you 👍😁😅😉
Krodon does this game still get updates
The game gets updates rarely. It actually had an update a few days ago, but it's description was shorter than the other ones, and when I played, I wasn't sure what actually changed.
But not much new added since the train map update. Instead of new maps or costumes, I would want gameplay improvements.
Plsssss tell me the versionnnnnnnnn
I think before the train map update. Not sure which version exactly.
is this for xbox too
Yes, the tips can help Xbox as well.
The controls are just a bit different,
L1 = LB
R1 = RB
X = A
Circle = B
Square = X
Triangle = Y
@@Krodon thank you so much im subbing

xbox tutorial
please
The buttons are very similar for Xbox and PS4.
L1=LB, R1=RB
X=A
Circle=B
Left stick = Left stick
That should be all you need, good luck. Let me know if you have other questions.
how do you throw things?
Hello. I've answered the basics of throwing for a couple people's comments in my tutorials. However, I hope I can figure out a nice way to throw and make a tutorial on it.
For the basics of throwing (PS4/Xbox controls):
First, try to knock your opponent out.
Then, grab the opponent by holding L1/LB and R1/RB.
Next, also hold Triangle/Y to lift your arms up and raise your opponent.
After, try to move towards the edge and or do a little spin towards an edge, or dangerous section of the map, to get more momentum and speed.
Finally, release L1/LB and R1/RB to throw your opponent.
Notes:
The first couple times you KO your opponent, they will probably wake up too fast.
Capes, wings, or other costume items can make it more difficult to throw, try to not grab the costume, but instead the actual opponent's body. This is difficult to do.
Also, I think for better throws, try to grab lower on your opponent's body, like their feet, so when you lift them up, they are higher overall and you can throw them over higher ledges and obstacles.
thanks
@@carlos_drums No problem.
I’m raging I DONT GET IT
Sorry about that. The flip one is tricky and maybe it takes too long to be useful in a real match. The first method is grab with both arms, hold jump / X for a little bit so your character lifts themselves up a little bit, then double tap the jump / X button. Maybe try to practice a bit alone in a local match set to 8 wins on a map like Incinerator, and try to climb up the wall onto the little roof.
Good luck, sorry if it doesn't work.
Krodon how do I go into a game by myself
In the main menu, press local instead of online. This will let you start an offline match, and you can start it alone.
Its tricky but i finally mastered it
Nice, which method do you like to use?
wheres pc theres none of pc of this

Hard
The flip doesn't work too much it seems, but maybe keep trying to practice with the climbing up walls. Good luck.
@@Krodon when I hold x my character stamina go down
I guess we have to climb quickly then. You need to hold X to go higher.
Nope easy for me
I RESPECT YOUR OPINION, I RESPECT YOUR OPINION, I RESPECT YOUR OPINION.
Thank u Silvestre Stallone
No problem. Are you planning on a climbing montage? Why Stallone?
U sound like em
Sound like he does in real life, or one of his movies like Rambo, Spy Kids, Rocky?
Rambo
That's the first time I've heard that. Thanks for watching the video.
How do you throw?
While holding down L1 and R1 (for PS4) to grab the enemy, hold Triangle to lift them up and then move towards where you want to throw them, but be careful not to fall off yourself, then let go of L1+R1. You can also let go of Triangle.
I still haven't figured out the best way to throw, too difficult to KO people enough to test it out.
You can’t unless you let go of people with momentum from spinning or push B to head but which gives more momentum too
@@sixtyninety5517 Cool, thanks for letting us know. The way I described is pretty basic for eliminating knocked out enemies over nearby ledges, but spinning or the headbutt boost would probably allow you to throw from further away.
Ummmm still to hard
Sorry about that. Don't give up.
Why advanced ?
I hoped to make it more in depth and detailed than other climbing tutorials I saw at the time. Also, it shows unconventional methods like the Krodon Flip.
Bruh silence your excessive button mashing annoying asf 😒

Thanks Theo, I'm glad I could help.
Wasn't sure if this worked properly or not. I do try and test methods for climbing, but I don't know if my focus on making a video tutorial can make my results exaggerated or maybe use methods that seemed useful to me while playing and recording, but maybe not in actual gameplay.
