Love everyone of those trucks.. grew up with my dad having a 68-390, 3 on the tree, 69-302, 3 on the tree. Stayed in the family for years till my 2 brothers each got one and made street rod trucks out of them.. later on they were sold. I'd have all 3 of them... enjoyed the video!
Was a die-hard Ford guy until I got to working on different brands and saw they were all the same, they're all as good as the maintenance they get. The older ones are more sturdy and take more of a beating though ;-)
I can't imagine they haven't done anything in 3 wks worth recording.upload everything I would watch every day. I really want to see the building go up. My hubby wants to take vacation and go help.
Love watching your video’s had open heart surgery middle of July found your video’s while in hospital, went back watched them all from your begining, on this video today, Thanks really enjoy everything you film, great job and newer viewer but a life time viewer, Thanks again! Ted
Thanks Rick this is your old buddy Kenneth I'm glad that you rescuing me glad that you are rescuing these old Ford trucks like to see even more of them on your series and don't worry about the one-sided people out there you and I both know did American Motors all made some great vehicles thank you look forward to seeing your new shop
Rick..good to see owners finally understand enough is enough..and i have no doubt those Ford's will soon be sold...hope the hot season has not been to brutal for you folks..Rich
Love the old school keep the old ford's running I have a 71 f100 I also had a 72 that had the crime on the sides I think it was 73 when they came out with the wide come like that was on the 78 great video
Unchaining before backing off the trailers a good thing to remember! I forgot to do that while unloading a '79 Holden Premier once, ended up doing a bit of a reverse burnout on the trailer! lol
77 had a two piece grill with round headlights. The 78 custom had round headlights with the single piece grill but you could also get square headlights with black headlight buckets on the nicer package trucks. The 79's all had square headlights with argent /silver buckets regardless of the package. 73-79 were also known as dentside trucks.
So sorry the lost of george, I am a veteran my self, 68 to 71 spent a tour in Korea, got my discharge when my 6 years was up, I am proud to serve my country
I do like all your old chevy's but I am a ford guy. Glad to see you could get them going and hopefully someone will step up and put the other 2 on the road. I really like the brown one. I had a 75 King cab short bed F250 for years. Back in the 90's everyone that talked to me wanted to buy it. Thanks for your show.
Hi, Rick and Jamie I wish I didn't live 1750 miles away, or I would be over at your place checking out these trucks, Nice rescue im liking the music on this video and the bald eagle.
I love all three of those trucks. My favorite is the 78. My grandfather had a Ranger like that. He passed in 1991. I wish to this day I could find a truck like that. If I lived closer I'd be trying to get that Ranger if its still there. Take care of it, it has a heart..
Rick, I watched the video where your told a bit about your past. You apologized if it seemed like you were bragging. What I got was you were sharing a part of your life in a real and humble way. I am blessed to know that you have changed your life for the better. I suspect the Lord had something to do with that. Anyway, keep on keeping on and may you always walk with the Lord. Blessings to you, and Jamie. Have loved watching your videos.
The Lord had EVERYTHING to do with turning my life around. He has showed me a new way to live and blessed me beyond my dreams. I'm still far from perfect....but headed in the right direction. Thank you and God Bless you Brother. -Rick
tom protzman these old ford trucks you can tell they have been well care for all these yrs great job rick and your wife brings home take care tom from wisconsin.
"Gopher" definitely has more pulling power than "Grumpy", but I subscribe to your thinking of it being better suited overall for tow/haul work, Rick. Putting the useful to use....I hope the blue F100 and maroon Camper Special will sell intact, those are just in unbelievable condition.....continued success for your business, I enjoy the videos.....
ya might wanna check the firewall @ the clutch master cyl on that 1993 F-350...those years are notorious for fissures and cracks due to city driving and flimsy metal ...a reinforcement plate(s) is available to stiffen the firewall happy clutching 😎
I like Grumpy :-) he is cool, Did not want to wake up though ahah :-) bless him i would love to have one of those in england. especially grumpy or the blue one etc :-)
Ahhh, Rick, you KNOW I`m a Ford Truck man . For the duration of this video, I was in Ford Truck heaven ! Great shots of the Bald Eagle, too ! God Bless America !
Great video guys. Im still a chevy truck guy but 16 years ago i had the chance to buy two 1987 E-350 vans with the 4.9 for the lawn business. Man i did not like the trucks at first. until i had a pallet of grass put in the back of the truck it accelerated and drove almost like it did before. P.s love dog.
Nice haul of Fords Rick.Must have been aFordable. LoL I wish we had access to old trucks like you have in the USA.Great vids and keep up the good work.
I own 3 of the late 70's era ford trucks. I daily drive a '78 F-100 2wd with a 300-6 with a transplanted 4 on the floor. I own a '79 F-350 4x4 which I am trying to find a decent sized motor for not a lot of dough to tinker with. I also own 2 parts trucks a '78 F-250 4x4 which will be a donor for the F-350 and a '78 F-150 which is a donor for the F-100. I've named the F-100 Luna. Just found this channel today which YT recommended.
I will need to buy some body parts from that 79 you pulled off the trailer in the beginning of the video. I have a 79 F100 Stepside that needs some work. Loved the video! Great to see good folks doing good things to keep our American truck history going.
I wish I had some money for the camper special cause I want a truck to drive but I’m almost 17 and I’m going to wait till then to get my drivers license and I love old trucks if I had it I would take very good care of it. It would be cool to have an old truck as my first vehicle. Well keep on making classic truck rescues.
I'm glad the gentlemen were able to unload the trucks so that you can find good homes for them. Even Fords deserve to be rescued. (ha ha) Actually, like you all I love any old truck.
I am with Jamie love the blue one with three on a tree these 1960/70 ford trucks seem to last longer that other makes that just seem to rust out I would love a 1968 f-100 short bed .
Man you got some nice Ford's in that deal. With Fords anything built late in the year was considered the next model year. So Oct 77 build date is a 78 model year truck. The grille's on both of those 70's Ford's are 78/79 model year grilles . Round headlights were 1978 with that grille shell, except for the higher trim levels. The higher trim level 78's and all 79's had the rectangle headlights. If they were a 77 model year they would have a different grille shell with a split grille insert. Your trailer ramps looked like spaghetti noodles when you backed that Camper Special off the trailer!
That is generally the case with U.S. car companies....model-year changeover usually occurs in July, plants would shut down for around 2 weeks to accomodate changes in manufacturing....dealt with this when running OTR, trucks running supply for plants would get shifted to general freight or go on vacation.
Rick, the ‘93 would make an awesome work truck for hauling stuff around. Take a load off Gopher. I suspect both of the other two will go too a good home. The Bald Eagle was a great sight too see as always. God bless and take care.
Hey Rick and Jamie just wanted to let you both know I've been having some issues with my account but now I sign back in I've been watching all your videos still love you too KeepSafe now
Hey there Jamie, Rick and Anna! Just caught up on the CTR series yesterday. (I was watchin’em from the beginning) I was very happy to see a new video today and to see how things are going on the ranch! Those are some sweet Fords! Wish I had the money to hand to you for the blue one... maybe someday. Great video, as always. Thanks for the update today and for all your hard work, especially Anna TIG, rescuing all those awesome old trucks! ✌🏼👍🏼😎🇺🇸
I think they sat more then a year being sunk like they were ! lol! They sound good though , you got a great deal ! That maroon one was not liking that old gas from 2009.
Love all three! (Especially the blue one for some reason lol) Out here in Pa they use so much damned road salt so seeing those era trucks are quite the rarity these days, sadly. If y’all weren’t on the opposite side of the country I would totally make an offer on either of the 70s trucks! The 93 is nice too, my dad bought a 93 with the turbo diesel brand new back then and I LOVED that truck! (Still hope to one day find his old truck if it’s still out there, but with the rust out this way (and it had 287K when he sold it) it might not be around anymore 😕) Anyways, loved the video, and the bald eagle was a nice touch too! 🦅 Take care!
your a good man saving history old fords, and other trucks !!!

Good to see you guys again. Keep up the good work Rick.
My 1st vehicle was a 79 Ford with a 302 and 3 on the tree lived that truck.
When you are setting your Truss', you can use the dump truck with boards across the box as a moving scaffold...good for the roofing also.
robert
Yepp!!!

Love those Dentsides!!!
That maroon '78 Camper Special will make one heck of a truck for someone....you just can't FIND these anymore, let alone in this condition!
Hi, Rick and Jamie I wish I didn't live 1750 miles away, or I would be over at your place checking out these trucks, Nice rescue im liking the music on this video and the bald eagle.

Great VID, you know she gonna get the truck right? one of those "Happy Wife, Happy Life" kind of things.
Jamie got a good point easy to move them around, than the non runners.
Let me see you start that old galaxy sitting beside you on the left. That's the one right there in front of you. Sounds pretty good for a "Ford".

F350 is a great find for sure!
Good to see a new video Rick! It's such a shame we don't see those old American trucks here in Europe (Netherlands) so much!
"Gopher" definitely has more pulling power than "Grumpy", but I subscribe to your thinking of it being better suited overall for tow/haul work, Rick. I had a three on the tree K5 Blazer. Great truck. Everyone should have a three on the tree, that way they don't text and drive!
That Dually will be nice to have around to pull Marge with
Great trucks
I have driven a lot of company trucks that were Fords. Never owned one. Those trucks got the job done.
I will need to buy some body parts from that 79 you pulled off the trailer in the beginning of the video. I have a 79 F100 Stepside that needs some work. Loved the video! Great to see good folks doing good things to keep our American truck history going.
That's not a truck I would part-out. It runs and drives and has never been wrecked. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
Classic Truck Rescue ok. :( Thank you guys again for rescuing them Fords. BTW I do love the GMC's. Had a 72' for 19 years.
I wish I had some money for the camper special cause I want a truck to drive but I’m almost 17 and I’m going to wait till then to get my drivers license and I love old trucks if I had it I would take very good care of it. Wow,some cool trucks, nice eagle shot Jamie!
That F350 just needs a TLC. Good truck.
I'm glad the gentlemen were able to unload the trucks so that you can find good homes for them. Even Fords deserve to be rescued. (ha ha) Actually, like you all I love any old truck.

Good to see another video up. Was wondering what you've been up to.
Man you got some nice Ford's in that deal.
