What if it was registered in bad faith? Does the true owner in good faith could ask to cancel the initial registration?
They can try, but they will have to prove it, and that is where the difficulty might lie
Thanks, Atty. One more question po, would it not be a prima facie evidence that there's a fraudulent intent when a person abruptly registered a publicly known trademark? There's public knowledge that this long existing trademark was indeed created by a public figure.
That's a matter of evidence and will depend on the skill of your lawyer in proving it.

Atty. sorry another question, what if the registered trademark in the intellectual office is for a specific trade, i.e. merchandise goods, would it be possible that another person registered the same trademark but for another specific purpose? Does unfair competition and or public confusion would be used as a defence of the first registrant?

Wala bang violation if di ipsregister ang tradename?
Hello. Wala naman po, pero pag may ibang nagparehistro ng kaparehong trade name, maaari kayong pagbawalan na gamitin yung trade name.
