I combined the setup in this video with CAKE Queues. A top level Download tree queue w/ parent: global. A top level Upload tree queue w/ parent: global. They are using the cake download and cake upload queue types seen in one of your other videos. I had to add mangle forward connection mark rule with action mark packet for each ISP to mark the Download (with passthrough). I also had to add mangle output mark packet rules for the ISP output interfaces also with action mark packet for each ISP to mark the Upload. With the download and upload packet marks, I was able to to configured the queue tree and I have my buffer bloat down to 1-7ms. I thank you very much for this video as I couldn't have done all this without it. I've been trying to better understand how to load balance ISPs with different download/upload speeds, and this is working great so far!
Thanks! This actually works in version 7.1! I configured this video for 5 providers, while two on Ether, two providers are picked up via WiFi 2.4 and 5, and one on LTE. At the same time, LTE via USB gives an Android phone))
thanks ! this tutorial is perfect. I tried others but something were always missing, and finally I found yours . If you can do the same for bonding that will be great . again thank you very much 🙏
I ran into a problem: there was a connection, for example, via ISP1 (for example, TH-cam). And my provider (ISP1) reduced the speed to almost zero, so it's impossible to watch TH-cam, but there is a connection! At the same time, everything is fine on ISP2, the "fat" channel (75M) and it is idle. What settings are needed to track this moment and switch the connection to the "fat" channel? This applies, in fact, only to viewing TH-cam or streaming video hosting. For surfing the Internet is not very important.
Failover does not work like expected for me... ISP1 has no link to gateway (cable unplugged), ping from workstation to google gives destination host unreachable (from ISP1) but web traffic works. Windows says has no internet. Some websites loads, other not. Loading a website takes too long - about a minute - for first time.
will this work if I use WAN/INTERNET (eth1) and LAN1 (eth2) on my device? hAP AC2. my ISP1 on eth1 will be on bridge mo and getting public IP from my ISP.

Great tutorial. I tested the system as i have a 600mb isp1 and isp2 is starlink around 200mb. But whe doing a speedtest i only get from 30 to 70mb form the isp2. Is there anyway to make each other to up and down speed the same time? Thanks for the tutorial was awseome
GRACIAS.

This is not a recursive failover ... It's load balancing and auto fail over.... Booth isp are being used... Kudos
