The X70 and X12 are two very strange routes as to and from Birmingham City Centre from Bromford they can take two different routes depending on traffic or what the driver decides to do, they both either travel along the Spine Road from Bromford to Saltley then along the main road non stop into Birmingham, or they go along Tyburn Road to Spaghetti Junction and the Aston Expressway ((A38M) non stop both ways into Birmingham. This route makes the Bus Journey from Bromford to Birmingham City Centre in around 10 mins on both routes compared to 40 to 45 minutes in the past on the 26 / 72 bus routes that used to do this services but via Washwood Heath, Saltley and Duddeston.
