The voice you hear in the Skate 3 clip is not a “mystery voice.” It’s Reda, the cameraman from the previous games, who the fans notably disliked at times for “talking too much.” This is why he was switched out for Shingo in Skate 3, and definitely why he just randomly starts talking at points.

Gives more credibility to the skate 3 is a dream theory seeing as how Reda isn't there at all from what I remember in skate 3. His disembodied voice is just saying random stuff and that is almost like him having a conversation at your hospital bed while you're in a coma or something. I may be grasping at straws but Ive always thought the vibe of skate 3 was super surreal and way too different from the semi realism of the first two games.
A really good idle animation is in Star Wars Kinect, if you leave the game running in the main menu, C-3PO and R2-D2 start having fun
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast has one in the form of Kyle Katarn shaving his stubble via his Forcedamned lightsaber.
Agent 47 looks like an angry but normal looking Mr. X.

A detail in Saints Row 1 is that when you go into a tunnel or underpass in a convertible, the radio echoes.

@@Dark_knight484 I think he was talking about GTA V which does have a lot of great details, it's just that the earlier SR series did add some impressive details granted time and amount. Idle animations that are dependent upon location, people around you, weapons, etc, the pirate radio station cutting out, echoes in the tunnels, shadows moving according to where the sun is, NPCs reporting accidents to the cops/EMTs and the like. Yeah I'm a huge fan but still I can't get over the amount of details they poured into a game that's nearly 20 years old. I'm picking up the red faction games to see what they did there.
A hidden video game detail in Lego Batman (the oldest one) is that, the characters you play as have a unique takedown animations besides from punching. Well, if you play as Poison Ivy her takedown is a mouth-mouth deadly kiss, but she will not perform this special takedown against female enemies, only male (and creature-like) characters.
That's actually a bit out of character for Poison Ivy though.

@@kerdnerl Considering her relationship with Harley Quinn when Harley was introduced into the main cannon back during the No Man's Land arc (1998/1999) it might not have been cannon back then, but it was strongly hinted at. It was quite obvious that Ivy's feelings for Harley were more than just friendship. I am also not sure if it's cannon by now, or if she's considered bisexual.
Conker's Bad Fur Day has multiple similar idle Easter eggs to the Bionicle one if you wait long amounts of time, involving Conker wondering where you are. There are so many that there's even one channels keep missing when making videos that are supposed to show all of them. It's the one where he starts questioning if you died.
And no, I'm not getting it mixed up with The Stanley Parable's broom closet dialogue. I found some comments about it to make sure.

In Deep Rock Galactic, if you're playing as Driller while using the Flamethrower or as Gunner with the Incendiary grenade, you can use them in Glacial Strata's cave to melt snow and ice as well as Engineer's platforms. It's really a good attention to detail!
In Saints Row 2 if you stand idle near a spot where npcs are typically idle your character will walk over and do that animation
My favorite idle animations are from the game Haven by Game Bakers. You play as a couple on the run (ran away from an arranged marriage with others), but they fly around the world trying to fix their ship, collect things, and learn the history of the planet. Very romantic young couple vibe. But they have various idle animations where they embrace and kiss, and if one of them has lower HP then the hugging and kissing actually bring their health up to be equal to the one with higher HP.
pretty sure the random voice for the Skate 3 one at the end is Giovanni Reda, he was the main voice you heard in Skate 2 also.
In Skate 3, the voice isn't an unknown person. It's Shingo, your filmer. He's the camera man that's giving your skater visibility. Skate 3 is the only second person game I can name off the top of my head as well.

@CaptainEggcellent You must not have played the Skate franchise much at all if you thought that voice was unknown, considering Giovanni Reda is one of the main characters of the Skate franchise and his Voice is pretty unmistakable to forget.
if you "park your car" and do nothing in the new The Crew Motorstorm a little "cutscene" pplays which shows your car from different angles.
Also a nice little detail for doing nothing
you can do the same thing on the other dancefloors in that hitman bloodmoney level and he will even dance in different styles and on the level with the naked guys he will start dancing with a random npc if you let him idol on the dancefloor

Fun fact: In re4 remake Leon's idle animation will be the same pose he used in the original 2005 game

There's one easter egg (Or at least fun fact) I'm not sure everyone knows about. Some programs of sorts will show where that program's file is located on your computer if you hover your mouse over said program.
(Example: you hover your mouse over "Steam" and it'll display something like "Location: Steam (C:\Program Files... etc.)").
If you have the minecraft launcher on your computer computer screen, instead of saying it's file location, it'll show "A gateway to everything Minecraft".

During the mission when rescuing the gang from Nahualli, driving from his cemetery hideout to the beginning area of the game, the two characters will begin speaking to eachother as if one of them is a figment of the others imagination.
If you stand idle for too long in Dead Island your character will actually say some different things

There is another great Idle animation for the N.Sane Trilogy. When playing as Coco, she will pull out her phone and start using it. Sometimes however, the phone will start buzzing with electricity; Coco will throw it in the air, and it will Explode, in reference to Samsung Galaxy 7's phones. It can actually be used to break Crates, so it can be useful... eventually.
Pacman 2: The new adventures. If you wait on the pause screen long enough, pacman will get annoyed and check if you are there

There is an Easter Egg in Lego Lord of the Rings you might want to check out. If you have the Boss Disguises cheat on when you fight Shelob, she will have roller skates on her legs. This is a reference to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, when Ron defeats the Spider Boggart in the exact same way.
