Ask if it’s something they normally eat, if so, ask if they’ve considered having more nutritious meals or if that’s a problem for them to cook or get the foods, if they say they just like sweets be like “that’s understandable, we all like sweets and it’s your choice, but if you’re interested I could refer you to a dietician that could create a meal plan with you, as a healthier diet could be beneficial for your recovery and general health”
