You should put some nice heavy weight linen curtains up (to the floor length!) and get rid of those blinds. It will add a lot more warmth and coziness to the space ❤️
I followed you when you were moving to DC from college and starting your fitness journey and I love keeping up with you. You’re so relatable even though we live totally different lives and you’ve inspired me to focus on food and exercise as solely a health and wellness goal and less a body/image goal. You’re looking so great and literally glowing in life and it’s because you follow your own path and I love it. Proud of you and idek you
Kristee I have been following you since I was a senior in college back in 2014. And I´ve been watching you on and off. I´m glad you are doing great and following your dreams. Just like you, I´m about to move to my own place! Glad we are sharing those big moments! Sending hugs from Honduras.
LOVE that you’re back in DC/NOVA. So many fun spots and updates that I can relate to - living here in the same area. For Five is delish. One of my fav spots for cold brew- and their stuffed cookies are unreal. So indulgent! Highly recommend! Keep the new content coming! Welcome back to DC! 💜
Could you make a video discussing how you've grown to be able to sign out of work for the day at a reasonable time and not feel scared or extreme anxiety about not having gotten enough done or missing something? I suffer from this and it's really expanding to see someone so excited about their job which I assume is a more elevated, demanding role but also able to easefully stop before 8 every day or not having to pick back up later in the evening after a "break"
There is a Washington based TH-camr named Caroline Winkler who does interior stuff. She has some old videos of thrift/vintage shopping in the Washington area with the store names - might be helpful. Loved the vlog!!
I've already said it but congratulations again! I'm so happy for you and I know the stress of finding these types of jobs. You've worked hard and you didn't let your spirit get crushed. I hope you continue to thrive
Buy felt gliders for your chair or you’ll ruin the floors and they’ll keep your security deposit. It sounded really sharp when you dragged it to the desk.
If you shop at flea markets i would assume it’s a cash and carry deal. If you shop at second hand stores i think most have delivery options. The sticker shock is real because somehow we equate second hand to cheaper. The second hand market is real. The payoff is quality one of a kind finds. The fun is in the hunt and the slow layering of your final decor. You have the NEEDS covered. Now you can take your time with it. Nice to see you take breaks and explore the area. ❤
I know you’ve lived here before, but how do you make friends in new cities ? I’ve lived in LA for the past 4 years and still find it hard to make friends and meet people
I'll talk about this more in a vlog, but mostly I think meeting friends of friends or even acquaintances is key! also nowadays using social media and groups like "city girls who walk" if they have one in your city
I love the new apartment and am living vicariously through you! Have you thought about getting barstools for your kitchen area (the side on the living room area) once you've unpacked?
Has that tape measure been on your floor for a week? I know it's been explained why it's there but I'm just curious if it's going to stay on the floor till you get a tv stand and if so, why?

Yeah they reminded me of jail bars - you’re completely right.
i’ve watched you on and off for like 10 years and it’s been so fun watching all the stages of your 20’s 🥲
AW I'm so glad ty 😭💖
Thrifting is a great idea. They really did make stuff better than they do now.

You should put felt dots under the chair to help it slide without scratching the floor!
Loving the moving vlogs and the style direction you’re going with in your new space, so cute!

You seem so happy there. I’m enjoying your blogs very much

Your apartment is looking so nice. I'm sure the NY experience is amazing but Washington seems so much cleaner. And newer. And less chaotic.
I love how you say that about your ordering of items! I’ve been here for like 4 moves I know there’s no logic but it’s the kristee way and it works 💖
Maybe the little things in the vases is for cleaning to remove green build-up. Because they’re so weirdly shaped you can’t reach the insides.

AW omg thank you!! means a lot 🥺
your apartment is huge!! and very beautiful!
You can make your lunch. The night before.
Was just going to suggest that as well. That kind of lunch can be so easily sorted the night before.

Eastern Market on the weekends has GREAT furniture for sale. It’s great for that and for some decor as well made by cool people
I have those same florals, if you blow dry them they get way bigger/poofy. Makes a bit of a mess but they look great!
Welcome to the DC area 😊!
Love how excited you are 🫶🫶
i love having the metro card on my phone and my apple watch...it's so handy! and the only cities in the US that do that are SF, LA, an DC!
Yay back in the dmv!
You have such a fun life moving all over the country! ❤
Congratulations on your new place 🎉
Love your new apartment!
Just move one of the night stands to another location as a side table.

Love the white chair 👍🏻 Great apartment 😊

Not sure if you realize not but, a lot of your videos don't upload in HD just 720p.
I'm from the area. You picked a nice spot. Can you link the vase you purchased. Thanks
its linked on amazon. com / shop / kristeevetter 🥳
Have you thought about getting a vehicle
Why is your computer up so high?
How long is your commute, Kristee? I also like the hybrid model. Some days in the office some days at home is such great flexibility.
15 -25 min. From Arlington to most DC doesn't take that long
Yea we do hybrid too
Love it. Will not go back to 5 days
it's about 20 min! and yes I love the balance
Can you do big grocery haul can we clean with me love vibes evertime ❤
