- RADIOACTIVE: A feature documentary about the 1979 Three Mile Island meltdown--the worst commercial nuclear accident in U.S. history. RADIOACTIVE covers the never-before-told stories of four intrepid homemakers, two lawyers who took the local community's case all the way to the Supreme Court, and a young female journalist who was caught in the radioactive crossfire.
RADIOACTIVE features activist and actor Jane Fonda--whose film, CHINA SYNDROME (a fictional account of a nuclear meltdown), opened 12 days before the real disaster in Pennsylvania.
RADIOACTIVE also breaks the story of a radical new health study (in process) that may finally expose the truth of the meltdown. For over forty years, the nuclear industry has done all in their power to cover up their criminal actions, claiming, as they always do, "No one was harmed and nothing significant happened at Three Mile Island."
In this thrilling feminist documentary, indomitable women fight back against the nuclear industry Goliath to expose one of the worst cover-ups in U.S. history.

TMI changed my family’s life. I worked with TMIA, traveled around the country giving speeches, protesting, and testifying before a congressional sub-committee. Our phone was tapped, we were followed, and more. But our young daughter became stressed. So three years later we moved to Florida. Nuclear energy was never cheap and never safe.
Fantastic! Many Kudos! I was part of one of the first investigative films on TMI. Three Mile Island Revisited can still be seen on TH-cam. I am so glad to see that others are paying attention and are speaking the truth about the perils of nuclear power.
Powerful, moving and inspiring. We marched with a sign, Get Active Today, or Radioactive Tomorrow - still necessary to speak up. Massive more quantities of radiation from nuclear power plants have been released since then, yet we've stopped discussing this as a nation. You'd think the meltdowns at Fukushima, Japan, on March 2011 had stopped oozing water with highly radioactive particles into the Pacific - you'd be wrong.
wow the ignorance you display with this comment is astounding. How can a modern-day person be so grossly uninformed?
I've always wondered about this. I was 40 miles away from this when it happened. I remember getting very sick and did not know why. I knew they were liars even though I was just a kid at the time. How many years did they steal from me?
The film is not streaming on Apple + and Prime Video

Why do people like you ALWAYS feel the need to segregate history between men and women? Isn't it better to simply celebrate ALL unsung heroes? Not just the women?
Watch the film, on Apple+ and Amazon Prime on March 12 and after and you will understand. By the way, throughout history, women have not been represented. We are now trying to bring them into the conversation...... male heroes have always been celebrated and separated.
No response, illbehim?
