I've experimented doing it several ways. The warm water trick definitely gives you a nice clean meat to fish with and it sinks at a uniform rate. On the flipside... I think the fish like the fat
Hi joe can you do a paste challenge i know you like your paste fishing so would be interesting to see you do like a paste section challenge so having to catch say 15or 20 carp or f1s or both in 60 mins but you have to start across and after you have caught your first one you can start taking sections off but would really like to see you do a paste challenge of some sort if possible please be great to see and learn more from you
All common sense, been doing this for years on all sorts of venues where it suits, but crikey, don`t you guys get fed up of easy F1 bashing on carp puddles? Nothing skillful in `bagging up` on venues full of Carp, Yawn!
DP, although I agree with your assessment of the (carp puddles). I feel compelled to point out the fact that winning matches on such venues takes a lot of skill. Catching fish is quite easy, but catching the most fish is not.
Good for me to know as just brought my first ever pole.
Thanks for the info and hope all is good
I bet your wondering why you brought a 16m pole when he's telling you to fish a 1m...... 🤣🤣
@@michaelgoff4731 🤣😂Not really as didn't buy a 16m pole lol
Only brought a 8.7m one
@@MUFCMartin you'll have hours of fun with that, well done
Ohhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeees very impressive stuff from my ace friend Anthony Mctighe 🎣🐟👌👏🤩whoooooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!
Enjoyed that Joe!
nice little video there Joe, loaded with good information for close in fishing, thank you, PS, don't leave it so long between video's, lol
Ha ha thanks James. Been a busy spell.
This is a tactic i use at westwood lakes as well as anywhere else theres a lot of small F1's and carp to 1-3lb. Catch n snatch.
Hello I wonder if you could help me Please The new standard side tray does that Come with a Spare leg
Great video Joe with some brill tips. Do you scald your meat when prepping ✨

@@MatchFishingFilms Thanks Joe I have heard both uses too but do you think the fat makes meat float and drift away

Great video Joe, is there any chance of Mr cameraman zooming in on your float, so we can see the bites.
You mean me 😂
Joe could you show how you peg your keepnet please
No problem. I just have some spare bungee straps and hook them onto the bottom keepnet ring and attach them somewhere like my rod bag
When is the next q and a with Des Joe ?
When’s the next Q & A with Des Joe??
Just look at where most people chuck their unused bait, under your own feet is the biggest feature of all.
A would rather watch you on Addington backwater fishing rather than catching
I don’t understand why people pay over £50 for a pole when u can get a margin pole for 20
That's okay if the fishery will allow the use of meat, most around me have a ban on it
Just fish something else then 👍
No wonder its no bigger than a bath tub
You must have a fantastic home 👍
Sorry joe don’t call that fishing
Why not?

Funny really. Spent all winter fishing the river great ouse for chub. Have one session f1 fishing...
