Haha, we hear you. Sometimes we get a little too caught up in creating that mysterious vibe, but we totally get that it can make things hard to see. Thanks for pointing it out-we’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time! Appreciate the feedback.
I have glaucoma and it's hard to see the axe because your guy is wearing a black shirt and they blend together. Maybe you could change his shirt for future videos.
Thanks so much for sharing that! We definitely want to make sure everything’s clear and easy to see for everyone. We’ll take that into consideration and make sure future videos stand out better. Appreciate you letting us know.
god in some ways i didnt think about that earlier it really is hard to see even with my vision i can only imagine how much harder it is to distinguish the axe if your view is in different condition
A great piece. Hits my emotional spot. I really want it and learn to throw this. I would go so far and pay way more then production costs and material costs. So I would go so far and give you 70$ for this gem while my normal axe made out of similar materials cost 20$
Really cool axe. Love the kinematic engineering of my provoke karambit and it's really cool to see that tech being used in another form factor. $350 is REALLY steep though, even considering all that.
If you have a lighting guy he needs to be re-assigned. Have some common sense. Simply removing the black mat would have made a world of difference. Then u could actually see the axe on the wood table. Video has zero contrast and no lighting. You’re a big enough company. Hire someone and Do better
We hear you loud and clear. Thanks for the honest feedback-we definitely don’t want anything to get lost in the shadows. We’ll make sure to improve the lighting and contrast in future videos so everything pops. If you'd like, we’d be happy to send you some pictures for a closer look. Appreciate you taking the time to point it out.
Honestly, you should re-shoot this. I know it will eat a bunch of budget, but the negative reaction for such a simple reason isn't giving this release a good look.@@crkt
So it's for... Self defense? I get that's one of the main uses for a tomahawk but that's why they have really long handles. The point is to have some reach and swing. This is just a tiny knife on a thick handle. Also jeez I can feel physical pain in my hand just thinking of trying to use it for actual light axe work
Too small to be effective. Give this thing a 12+ inch handle so it can actually accomplish more than a knife of similar size and it's a home run. In it's current configuration what can it do that a 9 inch fixed blade can't? Help me find a practical reason to own this please I want to deploy it from concealment in front of my coworkers.
I think your director of photography is the same guy the filmed the giant whitewalker scene in GOT...we can't see anything with a black tool badly lit in front of a black shirt...try again crkt
Man, $350 for this? I miss the old CRKT that delivered badass innovative knives at reasonable prices. You guys have completely lost touch with your demographic.
Show the process of processing these materials, how it was processed, what controls and calibrations it went through, tests on it, what it is capable of in general, so that people understand what they are paying for, it is not enough to show a thing with interesting mechanics and demand such money for it) This is absurd. And one wonders when it became normal to call anything that looks like an axe but is not directly intended to be an axe an axe. I can twist a fork into an axe-like shape and call it an axe? It doesn't have a comfortable handle to generate the high force that is typical of axes, then what kind of work it is suitable for, I'd like to see.
How about not Wearing a Black Shirt in low lighting while you’re trying to promote a tool that’s also Black. No one saw this as a problem? Camera man ? No ? Director ? No ? Whoever uploaded this video ? No ? Nobody ? Right on 👍🏼
There’s nothing like a reveal video for a new item with low light, a black finish over a black mat in front of black clothing.
Common sense isn’t so common these days

@@crkt hiding your product is a great strategy.
@@crkt I didn't mean to come off too snarky. Thanks for the polite reply. I love my edc knife from y'all.
Those were some cutting remarks

I don't have glaucoma and I hardly saw anything either
Please please please do this but a shovel that would be hilarious and the ultimate pocket tool
Black ax in front of a guy with a black shirt. Would have been nice to see it.

Can you throw it?
Great for a army deployment... I need one
It would be sweet for opening C-rations...
was he holding something ? couldn’t see it

Is this legal in Canada?
CBSA is seizing multi tools coming into the country so it would be a fair bet that they would not allow this entry to the country.
Can't wait!
Please consider wearing a lighter colored shirt when working with a black colored item. Could not see the axe during the video.
I dont know what ill use this for but i need it.
Ok… you got me on this one.
$350 is beyond what i expected, it's cool, but you know

At least have the presenter wear a white polo shirt. Black on Black on Black, just doesn't work.
Agreed. I was looking at the thumbnail for like 2 seconds thinking they were just selling an axe head

Go go gadgeto tomahawk

my gf wont be happy about my next purchase

A folding axe! Has science gone too far?!
Very cool. But is it $350 cool? Idk guys
Me like it!

$350 seriously? CRKT used to have a good mix between value and quality. Now they have no mix just over priced products and subpar materials.
zero shock absorption, and this will rattle itself apart with any real use.
this is cool, but it not a serious tool.
Dumb to wear a dark shirt to demonstrate a dark object. Stunning product, though, despite your poor video
$350 for D2 😂😂😂😂 hell NO but it’s cool
Amazing. 100% adding to my CRKT Provoke collection. #PROVOKEX
Can’t see a thing! Fail.
Bad a..
“Hey guys, we’re shooting a video on this completely blacked out axe, what color shirt should I wear?”
