Hi, from Nevada. Own and drive 4 vehicles. Two of the vehicles are RAV4 Hybrids. 2022 RAV4 LE Hybrid in Silver, 2023 RAV4 SE Hybrid in Cavalry Blue. Both RAV4 Hybrids VIN number starts with "J" so both assembled in Japan. Both RAV4 Hybrids came with fabric seats so I installed custom fit leatherette seat covers which made the seats look a lot better and more comfortable. I always use premium fuel 91 octane or higher Chevron gas in all my vehicles. On the highway always getting over 40 mpg on both RAV4 hybrids. So far not a single issue they run perfect. No squeaks or rattles.
Had a 2022 gas xle premium, guy ran a red light, totaled😢! Got a 2023 xle premium gas, it was totaled in October😢! The safety system saved my wife both times! Dad bought the hybred xle premium hybred 2024. I've driven it several times and live the way it drives. We are currently awaiting a 2025 xle premium hybred. I told the wife of it don't make it to 30,000 miles her next is a used kia!😂
All Toyota dealers are getting super greedy. They want to sell you the dealer installed accessories and they want to charge you a price adjustment. Ive gone to 4 dealers. All the same. So it’s not an isolated event. Im gonna keep my old car for now and start looking for an used one, preferably certified.
Agreed. I have a Model Y and what you said about the 10 year cycle lifespan is priceless. I wish the EV cult.... wasn't a cult...because what you said is just common sense.
The 2.5 4 cylinder is a very old engine that has never been refined over the years. Most reviewers comment on the coarseness of the engine. And to keep weight down, Toyota has been very stingy with insulation even now. So expect a lot of road/tire noise at speed. Bad enough to be annoying. Otherwise, a good vehicle.
In flat urban driving like FL and warm weather year around, expect being in electric mode 60-70% of the time. In fact, on some trips, miles to empty actually increases after 20 mile trip. Mine is an Escape Hybrid that cost $32,000 new and is almost 5 years old with no problems. Averaging 46.7 mpg over life so far. Fusion hybrid batteries still going strong after 12 years. Ditto for Prius batteries, especially in states like FL and CA.
There’s no difference between the 2024 and the 2025 rav4. No reason to upgrade, everything is the same. I would like to mention what would be useful changes. Nicer ambient lights (like mercedes and bmw) , get rid of that annoying beeping when you turn car on, it’s really annoying and very old fashion like a toy car, do heated AND cooled seats BOTH side and maybe both rows!!! Get better interior lights, it’s pretty dark in there!!!
@@3CandiesInTX if the toyota RAV4 had a good horn I’d go that but honda finally made the horn good on the CR-V for 2025 so that’s why I will pick honda.
Arizona dealers are so dam greedy. I've negotiate deals for 3 family members for the past couple of years over there. And man they are brutal markup kings and queens. And make matters worse the taxes is quite high over there so with limited negotiations you are gonna get in debt you don't feel comfortable with. Their crappy smartpath pricing and stuff is high, and they love sticking to those numbers and then some while trying their absolute best in preventing u from negotiating with them. Literally 1 of relatives decided to buy a private used car instead and stormed out of multiple dealerships.
The new Rav4 is an outstanding little SUV. Great reliability and outstanding resale. I personally would just spend an additional $50,000 and buy the new Land Cruiser Premium.
We had the same experience but we went for nx lol. Never tried luxury and then try regular, you will not want to downgrade. We went to Lexus first and try the nx. Then we went to Toyota and Honda and nothing else compare. I did like the way the crv drived but the technology was lacking so decided to spend a bit more on the nx.
@@SA-mz2mc Yeah, I know 3 people who bought the 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Limited. They fill their tanks once or twice a month. 1 works remotely, the other 2 work hybrid and go out often on weekends.
@i6power30 well, you can't go that deep. In that case you using your phone is also causing so many problems. You are using electricity by charging your phone 24/7, produing electricity causes so many other stinky stuff... 🙅♀️

Thanks for letting us know the colors, very important info.
There is no point using 91 octane if the engine doesn't demand it
Agree with greedy dealerships. Paying 40k for cloth seats and no heated seats or all power seats. I haven’t had a good experience shopping a Toyota.

ya i agree i want to pay below msrp
I agree I would rather keep my 2018 xse camry rather than trade with them for just $18k and I got 53k miles on it👍
I don't have a car but I want one 😢so as soon as you get that new one, please give me the old one
Just bought my second Rav 4, and living it.
Loving
All this waiting and hype for this thing! Same stuff!!!😂😂😂
It's getting expensive. I rather put some more money and get an nx
What change Toyota brought in 2025 model so it became a game changer?
Love our 24 RAV4 hybrid. 40 mpgs is nice 👍

Mountain View so beautiful.
I have 23 Rav4 hybrid LE made in Canada. Looks pretty much the same 2025. No issue or problem so far😂

It's OK Toyota Rav4 looks good for a hybrid
whats different between 2024 and 2025?
There’s none. There are barely any difference between 2020 and 2025 !!!

just wait --- game most dealers play with new models
Is this hybrid the 5th gen our 4th gen?
Same car since 2023.
More like 2021
2019, actually...
is it noisy or quiet on highway drive, Mr Hardy?
Average
My new 2024 has interior rattling noises. it's killing me
Same on my 2021 RAV4
Faster than a rogue
Not by much
@@rakhsiprayogo82 more reliable than a rogue for sure.

far from apple to apple - LC is 16 mpg vs 40 and much bigger
Tried to get my wife one but Toyota was greedy so we bought new Honda Crv.

For the price you can get a model y
I got the HW4 Model Y. People should buy a hybrid or plug-in today. EVs is a upper middle class game unless one really likes the power train.
This guy is weird 😄. All his videos with a "2025" cars is not actually a 2025 car. Unless he records the whole windows sticker.
Without the ability to charge the battery, this car is just a gas car with a little bit more efficiency.
Little bit more? Alot moreeee efficient

@SA-mz2mc yeah but you still have to burn stinky gas

@SA-mz2mc not really. A lot less than burning them in the car. Like even with coal fire power plants is much cleaner than tailpipe emissions.
This New Yorker is having trouble understanding you - please speak more slowly ⏰
First. Great video!
It's the same as it been lol. No point to the video
Toyota business model is making money through more maintenance. Hybrid requires more frequent battery changes. Also tougher on engines.
Hybrids ARE catching on Fire more than evs!!!!! So NO THANKS!
Haven’t heard that with Yota
@BenHardyCars not a surprise! There's a huge cover up about the fires and differently About the number of deaths!
I’ve only heard about Hondas catching fire
Yes, hybrid sales are fire for sure!
I snagged me one for myself.
Because evs are less likely to catch fire compared to gas and hybrids
