Just because she’s the writer of this digest writer era doesn’t mean she’s representing all writers. You can criticize a creative work but can’t limit them to do this or don’t do that. Will you ask a poet why you are writing all about romance and woman beauty and not about tasawwuf or revolution. Saima has lot of work other than her dramas and non comedy work but I think a compare should do his homework about his guest and be critical or appreciative to their work rather them generalize them to their profession it’s an insult to them. Unfortunately the standards have stooped too low in today's society. If you call today's stuff "wonderful", then that's exactly the problem we are facing today. Because they get ads based on what you consider "wonderful", which is in reality pathetic.
The pathetic standards that these writers have fallen to. These writers are just money making machines. Is ko pyar ho gaya, wo bhag gai, etc. Zero content nowadays. Check how our dramas used to be in the 80s and 90s. Issues, depth, creativity used to be there. But now it's just money making people.
